    • It looks like a chunk to me but if you're saying this is within a normal range for a hair transplant I trust you. It sucks that it only happened in one spot but I don't think it'll be too hard to  correct with a smaller procedure in the future
    • Well that all depends if it has ruined my transplant or not lol
    • Hello I need some help so i will just give the whole timeline. I start topical minoxidil + finasteride since some days after I turned 19, since i realised im actually going to become bald due to the thinning around the hairline. In the end of this timeline of pictures you'll see I still have not recovered even though I took action pretty early on unfortunately. But I still have a plan Im thinking of doing and wondering what you guys think of it. Im 21 years as of writing today. So ive been on it about 1-2 years now. Finasteride ive been on since start until now, the 3 first months I started taking it in the form of 1mg pills (which i quickly changed into 5mg > cutting it to 1.25mg) since it was expensive the first time i bought it. Topical minoxidil i would apply once per day, once per night for some time but i think i would start doing it only once a day due to the amount of itching it caused my scalp. I wanted to find the foam version but it was not avaliable at all in my country so i kept trying brands of topical. Went to the pharma etc to ask for help for this "dandruff" problem but they gave me an antifungural shampoo which i would use during my time i used topical minoxidil. As of 10/03/2024 i took my first oral minoxidil so ive been on oral minoxidil for 3-4 months and ive grown a lot of hair around my whole body at the dosage 2.5mg x 2. So 5mg in total, i see no change around my scalp so maybe ill up the dosage to 10mg. But ill wait for the 6-12 month mark to be sure and not rush. 1H-3H.jpg, 2021 i realised i started to thin here i was 18 and i did not take action yet 2022H1-H2, 2022 when i was vacation i realised that ill have to take medications and take action if i want to keep my hair. So i took pictures here , cause ill go to the doctor after vacation immediatly to get on topical minoxidil, here i was still afraid of taking finasteride and i think it took me 3 months after i started minoxidil that i would also start taking finasteride. October2022, update picture, still poor progress but im getting the "dandruff" dry scalp issue January2023,2jan = I see some good progress babyhairs are growing long around the hairline i was very happy and thought itll work 28jan2023 = a picture of my hair long from above still no diffuse thinning signs yet, only recession along the hairline Vacation2023, in june time i grew my hair from jan2023 up until now and it was very long but looked very bad imo so i buzzed it to see the result and i was kinda shocked that i had the diffuse thinning issue so i took a picture and realised this treatment isnt working, i did not change protocol yet and was doing the topical minoxidil, was still optimistic and thought till absorb the medication better buzzed August2023, august time = i let it grow from buzzed and not cut it and continue treatment as usual, it would grow very unevenly out from here badaugust2023 + bad2 look at the lighting, my hair was really diffuse thinning, im really going to have change treatment september2023 + september20232 = growing even more long and lighting looks bad october2023 + side + side1 = the baby hairs i had got was now lost and hairline shaped really badly november2023vid = you can see how badly thinned it is 26dec2023 = my hair was really long and looked bad so i buzzed it few days after 30dec2023 = buzzed, checked my donor hair 8jan2024 = hair from back 10jan2024 = checked the hairline looked okay, from here on out im not sure but in march i lost my hairline super quick (what i on january was i booked a clinic for dermpan on my face cause i have acne scars, she was kind enough to also stimulate hair growth along the hairline so i said ok) the treatment was once per month for 3 months total, she used numbing cream etc, i also drank alcohol this time cause i was at university studying and so i got invited to a lot of clubs, i dont normally drink alcohol, it was also my first time. after jan i also got into contact with my dermatologist and got aklief (trifarotene) for my acne scars march2024 = my first oral minoxidl pill, i started 2.5mg daily 29may2024 = upped to 2.5mgx2 24june2024 = on vacation and i think im losing even more, here im thinking of upgrading to dustaride or up dosage of to 10mg (i still have not, my derma is very afraid of giving me dustaride she says i can get anal cancer on long term use) 1july2024 = this is my hair currently, its about 6mm buzzed and im not sure if im shedding still, i think ive been on finasteride about 2 years soon, should i up my dosage? i also tried dermapen my scalp in the time of oct to january 24, 0.5-1.5mm once a week when i was on topical minoxidil i havent lost hope yet and ill tell my plan, oral minoxidil is defintely working ive grown a lot more hair all over my body, facial hair etc. im not fan of facial hair but i dont mind it. what im waiting for now is to get it stabilized, im not sure if it is or not. id like to get some regrowth on 6-12 month marks, im also looking to get a hairtransplant if i dont regrow but stabilize from here on out. and the plan is to take hair from beard area + donor area, and fill in the diffuse thinning spot + hairline. if scarring occurs in my face, i dont mind cause i have acne scars and im thinking of doing TCA cross, Chemical peel, microneedling on my face. i also use sunscreen and tretinoin/trifarotene and will continue to do so. • Haha and the award for the funniest topic goes to you!! Hopefully she was worth it matey hahahaha!!
    • Hi Guys, I’ve just recently started DUT 0.5mg twice a week. Was previously on FIN for about a year and a half but found i was still losing hair. More recently I had a HT with Hattingen in the crown area and whilst the crown is growing in quite nicely, my sides seem to be dropping hence the jump to DUT. Was a bit of an instinctive thing and thought give it ago but at a low dose initially. The first dose i took and after a few hours i had some mild / dull ball ache which went the day after and continued with taking the 2nd dose a few days later (dosage was Sun & Weds). I did notice a week later a reduction in semen from previous weeks. I’m in my early 40s so not exactly a spring chicken in that dept but i have definitely noticed a difference down there. After 5 doses i’m seriously considering what i should do. I’ve tried Topical FIN & MIN from HIMs but noticed sides straight away so dropped that. This is when i started oral FIN and although the sides were there it wasn’t as bad as it is now Any guidance from any of you?
