    • Hello fellow hair loss sufferers, my name is David, I am 27 years old. I am one of these unfortunate dudes that started balding as a teen. Needless to say it rly damaged my self-confidence, going through this at such a formative age. With 20, I tried to shave, but I couldn't handle it. I was then worried I would spend my whole 20s like this, had no success with the ladies, etc. I think this narrative was repeated a hundred times on hair loss forums. At 21, already a Norwood 4, I decided to hop on Finasteride (after knowing about it for years already). I took it for a year and then went on a consultation with Hlc, who accecpted me as a patient. I was frankly a bit surprised, but other reputable clinics also accepted me, despite being so young. I had saved enough money at that point. So yeah I went for it. Needless to say that this was probably not the smartest move. I am an anxious person and many docs highly recommending against a hair transplant so young definetely costed me a few sleepless nights about what the future holds in recent years. The first few years were great, a weight was lifted off my shoulders! I felt young again and could enjoy my life much more and felt my age again. Anyway, not the whole balding area was adressed for me. I am 27 now, and I dont think that I have lost much ground since then. However, sometimes I have this feeling of being "screwed" in the future rly gives me lots of anxiety. I dont want hair loss to affect my life and decisions so much anymore. It is getting ridiculous, like I recently caught myself evaluating if I can afford a house and kids and further hair transplants. I still have balding in the NW5 area that was not adressed by my first surgery. Frankly, I can live with it for now and I think Finasteride should do a good job from making my crown expand and/or my sides dropping (hopefully). I am on it for 6 years now. I would like the more experienced and more knowledgable folks on this site about how they would proceed in my situation. I think about just living like this for another 5-10 years and hope for continued stability and then adress the bald crown? Maybe we will have better treatments by then (the good old hope of 5 years). I just want someone to assure me that I will most likely will be fine. I also get that the future is unknown anyway, so it doesnt make much sense to worry so much about it and just live in the moment  Anyway, coming to the point: How much FUS would you think my donor still has?
    • When can you play without a hat? It is hard to find any reasoning online for those timelines.  Dr Feller commented in a forum that contact sports could induce hematomas, however this would be unlikely.
    • Dam what a journey after four transplant from FUT to finally FUE, you have come long way man! Your results are simply natural and amazing, please do keep us updated after 6 months.
    • This is not great for 9 months and it would appear you had a poor survival rate but also judging from your previous post op pictures, the work didn't look good from the outset. You can expect only marginal improvement in density from here to 12 months as the hair matures. You have great hair characteristics so even though your donor has dipped, I would consult a great surgeon to see about another procedure. With a mix of scalp and beard grafts you could get the desired look in the right surgeons hands. Are you still on meds?
    • graft is secure after a few days however i wouldnt play outside in the sun without a hat
