Bottom line is YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH EITHER ONE!!
However to answer your question
1. Dr Rahals success has been going on well over 2-3 years!! He does very little PR..really no need for him too...his results are his PR..when I had my procedure done with him on my follow up visit his clinic was full with consult patients...He has been well know for a long time...not as long as Hasson..but a long time..
2. Dr Hasson probably doesn't have more dissatisfied patients...they do much more Video and Advertising than Dr Rahal...sometimes that may open them up for criticism...Im sure Dr Hasson has had a poor case in the past, Im sure Dr Rahal has as well...its going to happen...
YOU NEED to do a consult with each doctor...they are both excellent and no one can argue that...their past history speaks for itself...
When you talk about Hasson, Rahal, Shapiro, Konior, Feller,Arocha.. you are splitting hairs( NO PUN )
Its really which doctor you feel more comfortable with....

Love the documentation!!! Excellent transformation

Its normal...if you don't see blood...its normal...the hairs are gonna shed!!!

To be fair, one could argue that no single result is considered "typical". If we all had coarse light colored hair and a small area of loss in the front with 5000 plus grafts placed then yes, this would be a typical result. Most of us are not that blessed unfortunately so no, this is not typical.
Make no mistake though, this is true high density placement and the blonde highlights have far less to do with the appearance of density than does the math behind the result. The length, the color, etc. are minor conditions that aid in the final result but it is the sheer numbers along with the placement, angle and direction that makes this result so good.
I couldn't agree more...I think sometimes hair color compliments results...i.e..salt n pepper look, however in this case, this is sheer genius on part of the surgeon!!!

If you haven't tried propecia then you have no idea if you are gonna react to the sides...the sides are blown WAY out of proportion....there are millions using the drug who have very successful stories with no sides!!! At least try that way you will know for yourself!!

I was not expecting a great result at 4 months. Never, did I expect that!!! I've been around long enough to know that. I was simply saying that Dr Rahal has set the bar so high it's easy to get caught up in the early growth phenomenon. I'm extremely happy thus far. Just in the last 2 weeks I've had huge gains and I know I'm just starting!!!
I know I'm gonna have a great result. I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon for me. I know I've got some great growth ahead.

If you can't take propecia because of sides then dont take it, however like the others have stated its the best. You are wasting money on procerin!!!! Save it
-
The above, there is nothing I can add!! Both are excellent. Get a consult with both. I love both of there work!!

I can tell a difference even since I posted these pictures!! The next few months are gonna be fun!! Tell Dr Rahal I said hi when you see him!!!

Here is the time line I tell people:
Today you will leave with a crew cut of new hair wherever we place it.
7 days from now you'll get your sutures out and most likely you won't have cleaned enough...but once you wash away any remaining scabs in the recipient area...you should look pretty good.
That hair will grow for one month and then just about all of it, AND any of your native hair in that area, will fall out.
Nothing will happen for 6 weeks, and then your native hairs will start to regrow. You'll think its our new hair, but its most likely not.
So from week 5 to 11, you will be balder than now, then at about 3 months you'll be back to baseline with your native hair.
At around 6 months, some of the new hair will be growing. Sometimes its earlier (luck) and sometimes its later(absence of luck).
1 year from today, I'd expect you to have pretty good results but its probably 15 months til you are max'd out....but no one can remember to come in at 15 months, so we do an even year.
If you are a revision of previous surgery, particularly a plug repair...add 3 months to the above timeline starting at the 3 month event noted above.
I hope this is helpful, and it seems to be pretty consistent at our office.
Dr. Lindsey McLean VA
That sounds exactly accurate in my situation!!

Yep, sounds like its very normal. Get used to all kinds of wierd feelings for a little while!!
-
Yeah I think the biggest growth will be from 4-7 months.

Matt
You are probably right about that!!
-
Excellent!!! A little crown work and he's set!!
-
I was 18 and losing hair and started to panic!!! Now at 38 I just want a decent head of hair that I can style!!
-
That would be a nerve wrecking procedure for the doctor!!
-
That is a positive for sure!!

That sounds like a great deal!!!

As Blake said, I certainly wouldn't use it for a first line defense!!! I'm sure it has it's place, however, I dont think it comes close to FUT or FUE.
