I personally would go with hasson. They used a very similar technique that I received. I am sure I would have been recommended fut for my hairloss. I was pretty far gone in front and had moderate loss in the crown. So glad I chose FUE, but FUE using the 7-8mm punch size. I think we are all don’t want efficiency to sacrifice quality.

I agree that guy has a killer result @Skyb but I think even he would agree in that whole pattern thing. He lucky to have thicker hair and probably many doubles and Triples to distract from the pattern. But hopefully we can all agree using a doll like pattern style implant draws the eye more to notice something is off. With that said your right no doctor is perfect, I am simply point out artistic ability which I guess is subjective. Your right he has many happy customers so I am not basing him just the technique.

Wow, it’s hard to believe that someone would implant like a doll in the 21st century. I can understand some patients getting poor or slow growth, because many factors can contribute to that beyond surgeons control but that right there has is no excuse , just no “eye” for details.

@ADuckwithNoHair grid like pattern. 😆 I often wondered that myself. I see a few doctors pattern implantations that way. I think any form of pattern is a dead giveaway when it comes to transplants.I think FUT is over rated and the guys I see expecting better results from them are no more satisfied than a FUE. Stick with FUE with a 7-8 mm punch max.

Hair transplants are not a one size fits all. Poor growth can happen to anyone. Punch size used can greatly affect donor for future procedures. That said you had a pretty aggressive hairline and 3k doesn’t go far especially trying to build out temple too. What was placed per sq cm?? That is the question I would ask to give a idea what this should look like.

Dealing with dried blood on scalp after FUE
Guy73 replied to kdlmaj's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
It’s really all about not getting infections. Saline solution they use for contacts so serves the same purpose on scalp. I believe 🤔 h2ocean uses the natural salt from the ocean to do the same thing. I will say the h2ocean had me almost totally healed in 7 days. I just wish I used it on my first transplant. -
Dealing with dried blood on scalp after FUE
Guy73 replied to kdlmaj's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I used h20ocean spray immediately after my transplant. I did not use recommended saline spray by doctor. I religiously sprayed every 30-45 minutes up to the 10 day Mark. That will help loosen that crust. I also credit it to my success. Also around the 2 week mark I used that apricot scrub for your face on my scalp. Good luck!! -
Thanks brother! We both seemed to have done the impossible!👍

How does a second FUE in the same area work?
Guy73 replied to rob7331's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
From looking at your pictures, we have a similar hairloss. https://imgur.com/a/EITfvxC So don’t worry you will be just fine in the end. Rome wasn’t build in a day. Lol -
What progress/density to expect.

Curious, what fue did you have done? DHI or traditional with forceps? -
I have kinda beaten this topic up in many of my posts😆. But hey, someone has to talk about the elephant in the room! After looking at videos on YouTube before my procedure I never took in account how much light does affect for what you actually see in the mirror and how self conscious it can make one feel.
-
🤔 looking at my post op after my first, I only had 3900 grafts. I must say because you go from front to back it does look like way more than what I got. You might be right on the graft count. I agree with the other comment that it’s a big risk to have that much done in one go for many reasons. Most doctors will prefer under 3k grafts per session max and might push it to 4K but even that could be pushing it. Even my 3900 was done in 2 days.

I would say 95% of the time around 8 months should be a good indicator of what your results are. I can honestly say I scheduled my second surgery around my 7 month mark on my first procedure. ( I did wait 12 months until the day of second surgery) after my second surgery I would say I was comfortable to say not much improvement after 8 months and being I am at my 10 month Mark now after my 3rd, I think my theory is correct. -

Yo brother, I am being real! You think I got this way in one procedure?? I am explaining the thing that made me self conscious when I am talking to somebody and I notice they glancing at my hairline. No body is perfect but I am giving hope that more than one procedure can overcome some weak points on transplants. -

Another thing on density. It’s one thing to be in your car and you say this looks great! Maybe even walking around in your house. People see what you see. I honestly can spot a transplant right away when the density is not there. Why? Because it almost looks like a perfect hairline but you almost can count the hairs coming out of one scalp and most people don’t thin out with perfect hairlines. I was at a Christmas party one time and I was talking to this guy under a intense light. I keep thinking to myself this guys hair is not right. Even worse when a doctor gives you a perfect recession but the density is lacking. It just does not look right in way too many light situations. -

I found the “ mother” of all harsh lighting!! I dared myself to go under the light and snap a photo!! Tried to do it quickly sorry if not perfect but to all my fellow guys out there you know exactly the moment you realize density is lacking. https://imgur.com/a/glIKN3k -
When Did Price Become The Most Important?
Guy73 replied to Melvin- Admin's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I believe it’s more important to research the equipment and technique the doctors are using. Also if you are getting hands on by doctors in all steps. Everyone scalp is different and hair type. Anyone can get a bad result even at H&W. Just because something cost more does not mean it better. I don’t even want to say what I paid, people just wouldn’t believe me. Lol -

Lol, he was the guy I watched too! I emailed him a few times. Nice guy! Dr. Nader is a great doctor I am surprised he does not get more recognition on this site. Results vary person to person but his technique and equipment are top notch and better than most. I have seen Him fix a FUT job by a top doctor in New York. I referred a guy who spent big bucks in New York on fut only to not be happy and have a scar. Took Dr Nader a few times to really fix and make dense, but damm he looks amazing! I wish he had the balls to post on here like me. Lol -

Definitely on my way to a Norwood 5 or 6 here almost 5 years ago. I was loosing hair soo fast I could not control it. Never really took fin just rogaine but even in this pic it didn’t seem to help too much. I still do use it along with a laser cap. Hope I keep what I have at least. https://imgur.com/a/iqtq15F -

Just “crowning around “😆😆 so this basically is probably my final results on the crown. I am content for now. My hair is long so it really spreads out the scalp in some areas when you part your hair. I feel this is normal and even see this on girls. Let me know what you guys think? Actually my hair was wet in the some pictures and almost dry in the other. I try to show 2 different lights. The one basically directly underneath harsh lighting. https://imgur.com/a/IQIK58Y
