I'm likely going to postpone again but I am curious if anyone has had any luck getting to Western Europe for a procedure?
-
I'm an American. I was supposed to get 3000 grafts done back in June of 2020 with Dr. De Freitas in Spain. Like many others I had to postpone the procedure due to the ongoing pandemic. The new date is March of 2021 but it seems unlikely that I'll be able to make it.
Long shot but has any other American had any luck besides getting into Turkey?

how did you minimize the red? it seemed to ware off quick.

Hi everyone,
I'm curious if I can pull off a HT without others noticing. I'm simply not ready to expose having a HT at work. I would probably take a month off for my HT and was wondering how my head would look exactly one month after. Any suggestions for concealing it? My skin is pretty fair in tone (Caucasian) so the redness may be very noticeable.
Can People Post their 1 MONTH Post Op Photos Here? I wanna see what I'll be looking like.
Thanks

I'm 25. I've been on dustasteride, finasteride, and minoxidil for nearly 2 years. Is there hope for me? I'm noticing I have patches of thinning.
I'm afraid my hopes are too high. I want a natural hairline with a moderately conservative hairline. Sometimes I consider just taking a down to a 1 and calling it quits.

Bill- you've made the right decision choosing Melvin. He's given me tons of advice and truly enjoys being of help to all of us young men experiencing hair loss. He has saved me from making some serious mistakes and is very knowledgeable about this subject. Congratulations, HTsoon.

Hey! Nice results. Your title says Dr. Oztan but your description says Dr. Ali though. Where are you from by the way?
-
I think you made the right decision by avoiding the first doc, waiting 5+ years for a procedure, sticking to fin, and choosing a GOOD doctor. I am confident you'll have great results for the long run. I'll be following your work closely-particularly around months 6-8.
I myself am 24 years old and am considering a procedure with this doctor in about a year or two.

great results. good approach with the age-appropriate hairline.

I say give it until month 10. If your results are still as shown here, then maybe you're looking at a failed transplant. I do doubt it though. Nader has shown great results.

i recommend you get on finasteride and/or dutasteride to further stabilize your loss. if you choose to fill in the crown within the next year or so i say you minimally fill it in and add toppik or some type of concealer in order to create a fuller look. you don't want to place too many limited grafts into one area. you may lose much, much more later down.
upload photos for us to see where your loss in now.

For those out there searching clinics like this one: spend a few months on this forum researching who are the best surgeons in the world for both FUT and FUE, choose which method suits your case best, and then go with only one of those elite surgeons.
My personal favorites based on a decade or so of research are in my signature.
But don't be afraid to use the search button, and do not go with a surgeon or clinic that has not been heavily vetted by the veteran members on this site.
There are a few affordable ones out there (Maras) and one iffy clinic in Mexico that has a strong following that you can search if you're short on funds.
good luck to all prospective patients
hspr10,
while erdogen has good results, i feel like like ASMED has been overdoing it with the total amount of grafts used. thoughts on this?

thanks for the additional pics! the hairline is looking good. i think this is going to be a great result.

Yea close ups with a clear view of your post op would be awesome! I'd like to see the work in detail. So far everything looks good. Congratulations!

can i see more pics please?

Good hairline considering your age. You may need another ~1500 grafts down the line for crown but I say hold off and use toppik is you don't reach the density required. I hope you've invested in non surgical treatments as well.

I've been on dutasteride daily for about three years. I'm 28 years old. Before this I was on finasteride for about a year. I've experienced zero side effects.
