  1. My guess is that Dr ball intends to not lower the hairline much, but d st er strengthen it and make it more e dense. That sounds like a good solution to me. What you need is not a much lower hairline but rather the current one strengthened and made even. You could ask Dr ball, and be honest that the shave quot ed more. Dr's expect patients to get more than one quote.
  2. Quite a lot of see through effect in that firdt picture, but I hope he is happy.
  3. I have 5300 like you, and all the progress the first 3 weeks looks very very similar to yours. So..... this is what I have to look forward to in week 5 😰
  4. I see what you men but in my oppinion that two pics with longer hair looks worse and less dense even. https://content.invisioncic.com/o278943/monthly_2023_02/8month-side.jpg.a181b136345451534a3b2ae54f49eb1e.jpg
  5. Because some of them will likely survive and some of them might miniaturize over time. The issue is that we don't know for sure ahead of time which are which. So leaving them means that the ones that did not miniaturize can be used later. If we use them all now then some may fall out or miniaturize in unfortunate patterns, and there will be nothing that can be done.
  6. Could you post a pic of the hair lying a bit more manageable mate? That would be super interesting to see, and I also want to get an idea of what I can plan for when I'm 4.5 months in
  7. Looks good. We got virtually the same procedure with the same number of grafts (except I had no beard grafts) so I am keeping an extra close eye on your progress. The hair seems to stand up in quite a 'wild' manner. Is it hard to tame and style?
  8. Every case is different and there are several who had that many scalp hairs in one sitting though. GeneralEtwan for example, and I am another. Your progress looks really good. And the hair greed you talk about with the 2k remaining donor, perhaps consider waiting because you are still young and a lot can happen over the years, so you might need them somewhere in the future.
  9. The way I see it shock loss is completely irrelevant because it comes back after a few months.
  10. I definitely see what you are worried about. The usual length from Glabela is about 7-8 cm as far as I remember so 5.5 cm is low. What I would find more worrying are the way the temples are drawn. On the positive side, it looks quite densely packed. Also, if you have no history of balding in your family and you are on medication, then you might never actually need another HT - meaning that you can live with the 3000 grafts being taken so early.
  11. However much you pretend to be, or want to be objective, your opinions are just that. Your opinions. Sorry if I don't feel like continuing this back and forth. I'll agree to disagree. If you want to continue the discussion regarding to what degree they have something in common or are opposites, you are on your own. My main point is to relax and reserve judgment until Tony and Dr Sethi have had a chance to talk.
  12. With around 5000 beard grafts, this is at the very least what I would assume Tony would need. Probably quite a bit more because even-though Gatsby also had an exhausted donor with earlier FUT HTs, he still had some scalp grafts to rely on. I never said that I talked about only Gatsby's first procedure. I said cases, and Gatsby is such a case. I guess to you he still does not match well enough. He is the one I'm thinking of who would come closest. Either way. Even if they are not similar enough for you, I stand by my opinion that it is too soon to call for refunds and so on. Let's calm down and wait to have Tony and Dr Sethi talk about this.
  13. Of course you will never find anyone who exactly match the situation of anyone else. That is not a reasonable criteria. Gatsby is more similar to Tony in that both had an exhausted donor, and had a lot of beard grafts implanted. Overall, I think dr Sethi suggested that he could help Tony, but I'm not sure if he meant that he could create a satisfactory results in one go. I doubt that he did promise that. I am not an expert at his level at all, but I would assume that a case such a Tony's would always take several rounds - just like Gatsby's has done. If this is indeed the case, then I think the lynch mob mentality is a bit premature. Let's at the very least wait and see what Dr Sethi and Tony agree to. Furthermore, I know that Dr Sethi has had to postpone a couple of times, but let's be fair - he has not postponed indefinitely. Rather, this postponement I believe was merely one day. I suggest to keep a level head and put the pitchforks away until they have had a chance to sort this out.
  14. You can for example look up the results on here of the user Gatsby.
  15. I believe that Eugenix has a couple of examples like that which have been quite successful.
  16. I just see now that it seems you get only beard grafts. As far as I understand beard is harder to make dense because only about 50% is visible at any one time.
  17. I agree. A very low hairline for this level of hairloss. There is a huge risk of running out of grafts trying to keep up with additional hairloss over time. At least you are on dut, so maybe you can avoid the worst of that. Having said that, the part they did looks really good.
  18. The good ones in India are quite a lot more expensive than that. I think you can get a decent one in Turkey for that amount.
  19. The way your hair looks in the photo with the leather jacket is a good look for you mate! Looks super natural and dense.
