  1. First sitting was 6007 and second estimated between 2700-3000. I’m not sure if my donor can handle more so might be more from beard to reach 4000. I would need a 3rd one after 1 year to fill the gaps if my donor recovers. This is a photo 3 weeks ago.
  2. For the 2nd session it will be mix scalp (2000) and beard (1000)
  3. Next week should be 3 months, ending the shedding phase although the shed was for 2 weeks, slowly growing now and hoping to see more by the 4 month mark. below are photos before, first week and now.
  4. Hello, I plan to use my beard hair for my next hair transplant. Can grafts be extracted from the red area or do they grow shorter than the blue area? If yes how many can be extracted and used for the crown (mixed with scalp) In my first transplant in June, grafts were extracted homogeneously, mainly from the blur area and below. Thanks
  5. I’m using sebamed everyday shampoo, I’ve never used fin or min before just the min spray back in 1998 for a few months … no side effects from fin or min. I have a lot of pimples/acne on my recipient area maybe like 10, some hard some with white spots, since about a week. I used the skull shaver to trim the donor area and trimmed the recipient with scissors, but might keep trimming grade 1 as well.
  6. I’m trying to maintain a high protein diet.I bought the vitamins and Finasteride from Eugenix and started 7 days after procedure: Hairfact (6 month supply) Finasteride 1mg (1 year supply) Oral minoxidil 1.25 mg 10 days ago (then 2.5mg after 3 months) Need to wait at least 3 months to see some results, currently in the ugly duckling phase, I think not much shedding, tomorrow is week 5 🙁 trying to maximize the result to go back and finish off the crown. how is your progress going @JC90
  7. Thanks will try to create a separate thread by the 3 month mark
  8. Very similar to your results at the 2 week mark. Not looking forward to the shedding phase, I think I will shave it all off when the shedding starts to keep a uniform look. good luck and following your journey!
  9. That’s great news if shedding stops after 5 weeks, I’m almost near the 2 week mark (day 13), here’s a close up
  10. Is the area in the recipient darker because of SMP?
  11. Yes surgery was good, slits were done by Dr Vinita, I just wish I had enough to cover the crown, but need to wait. I guess it’s part of the process to go through shedding, hopefully will end soon and you start growing again.
  12. Thank you for the write up and excellent updates, it helped me make a decision and go for Eugenix. My procedure was last weekend (Over 3 days) with Dr Vinita as well and very similar experience and results. Today is Day 4 post-op. I am a Norwood 7 more like @Bandit90 but less donor, got 6007 grafts, 3976 scalp and 1713 beard, still need to fill the crown which I plan to do maybe in 6 months if my donor and beard can recover. Following your progress closely and happy growing!
  13. My first head wash is on Sunday, feeling exactly the same and healing quite well. Thanks for sharing your result, Happy growing!
