  1. Thanks @caveman for the update. It was great following your journey first time around. Looking forward to your progress in the coming months! Planning to get a HT done from Eugenix myself.
  2. Did he explain why you'd have to stop using minoxidil before surgery? Also regarding photo shoot, they did this during your first consultation? or did you confirm going ahead with a hair transplant from them?
  3. I think the progress is on track so far... Compared to your previous post and pictures the thickness has increased. Given the coverage I would have waited until full growth before considering a second transplant. Happy growing and looking forward to your progress.
  4. This is absolutely crazy. Just read the entire thread, it is a transformation for the text books. Super happy for you bro.
  5. Yes he mentioned the exact same thing to me. Basis the feedback seen on the forum, the scar does tend to stretch, though not always, I've asked them to share reference images of clients who have done a transplant 3+ years back. While what he's saying does have merit, I'm sure clinics like eugenix will be careful while extracting from the donor area, however the job is done by a technician and the counselors mention the "responsibility" continues to remain of Dr. Bansal and Dr. Sethi (not sure how that works). I will first hand clarify this with Dr. Bansal when I'm due to meet her in September when she's in Mumbai.
  6. Yes. After the mention in your post, I'm lined up to meet Malay Mehta this week.
  7. Yes he does... Will have to take call on whether he can pull off doing only a FUE for 5000 grafts...
  8. @FlushRojThing I am on a somewhat similar boat as you. Though my grade of baldness is NW6 and I'm considering Eugenix in India for sure. However the minimal doctor involvement does concern me. I will be having an in person consultation with Dr. Arika late September to clear these doubts. Also speaking with Dr. Soni who has had some great results but he has seemed to pioneer the combination technique hence not sure how he will be only for a FUE. Though he is in strong contention. I have spoken to Dr. Radha and she's really very sweet. She is priced somewhat similar to Dr. Soni but doesn't have any recent reviews on the forum. I did find her a bit conservative on my assessment. You can surely consult with her only if you're OK to travel to Vizag. I have also emailed Absolute clinic in Thailand and Dr. Yaman from Turkey and am awaiting their assessment. I too reached out to QHT simply because of the ridiculously low costs and excellent reviews(in person references also) outside this forum. But somehow I'm not convinced and don't want to take a chance especially because this is a proper surgery and I want to get it right the first time and not give cost too much weightage. I will be visiting their clinic in Haridwar to first hand see how it is run before completely ruling them out. So for now I'm sticking to only the forum recommend doctors and am also meeting Dr Tejinder Bhatti at the end of this month for an in person consultation.
  9. Dr. Soni is charging INR 310,000 (+ taxes) for its more premium package for 5000 grafts where he will be having full involvement in the entire process whereas Eugenix is charging INR 500,000 (+taxes) for the same number of grafts for its base package with a doctor having 1-2 year of experience and that too they will only be carrying out the planning designing and slits on the recipient area and other tasks (harvesting and implantation) will be done by the technicians.
  10. Any feedback from the senior members here? @Melvin- Admin @Gatsby @GeneralNorwood I'm divided between Medispa and Eugenix, however feel the cost arbitrage and an experienced doctor (Dr.Suneet Soni himself) involvement with Medispa for my budget is much more. But I have not come across any ONLY FUE transplant of Dr. Soni and I only want to go ahead with FUE.
  11. Hi @Rockstar30393 can you please share the latest pictures and update on your transplant?
  12. Hi thanks for sharing. Could you also share pictures of how the strip is healing at the back? I am also considering a procedure with Dr. Soni and am half convinced to go for a combination procedure but the thought of a scar on my scalp unnerves me.
  13. I recently discovered this forum and have been an avid reader ever since. I would like to express my gratitude to all the contributors for providing valuable insights that help us make well-informed decisions. In my search for the most suitable doctor for a hair transplant procedure, I came across Dr. Suneet from Medispa. During our consultation, he strongly advocated for a combination of FUE and FUT techniques, presenting several arguments in its favor. While I acknowledge the potential benefits of the combination approach, I expressed my apprehension about having a permanent scar on my scalp. Understanding my concerns, Dr. Suneet's team subsequently informed me that they would proceed with the FUE technique alone, respecting my preference. Given Dr. Suneet's expertise and positive feedback from previous clients, I am considering him for the FUE procedure. However, I have not found any specific reviews or testimonials regarding his ONLY FUE technique transplants on this forum. I kindly request advice on whether Dr. Suneet is equally proficient in performing FUE as a standalone technique, considering his strong recommendation for the combination approach during our initial consultation?
