  1. lol, GreyHunk.....instead of bloviating, why don't you post but a few of your favorite examples of LLLT's efficacy? Myself and others are simply too stupid to have ever found the *actual* proof that you're speaking on behalf of. It'l just take "a matter of minutes on the internet". Oh, and photos are often dubious/fake because they themselves look dubious/fake -- you should know that such examination requires actual sense, and is entirely dissociated from theory and whatever treatment is supposedly at hand. Oh, and your conclusion that people should sue LLLT companies because they spot disingenuous ploys in their documentation is LOL-funny! Almost as funny as you deducing that a 67' study claiming mice show regrowth proves that the LLLC being hawked is a viable treatment for people.
  2. Good to hear you're sorting this out! Should definitely refine your hairline. Honestly, though, I can't help but wonder why this 800 grafts wasn't essentially taken care of in your prior HT....not a knock on YOU in any way, obv. Anyways, look forward to watching you grow -- rest up!
  3. hopefull, you believe that people with some form of 'clout' in the online community get preferential treatment from docs to boost their odds of achieving that 'rare excellent' result/
  4. Your loss is actually quite similar to mine; I also began the HT process when I was 22, as well. I can totally understand why you would want to get a HT, and in the right hands I don't doubt you can get a great result and be *much much* happier about your locks. It's always important, but ever-more when you are young, make sure you go to a top clinic and get an appropriate session size.
  5. It's all situational. I'm a prototypical example of a "young guy" (was 22) getting a HT; Azza is another, and there are many more. Having the right donor and selecting the right doctor so as to maximize said donor are the most essential facets, IMO. This is why it is sad and ironic that Armani ensnared so many young guys -- he rapes what donor you have....
  6. Actually, Jotronic posted the recent case -- http://hair-restoration-info.c...521087683/m/16110933 -- where Hasson implanted at ~90.
  7. And to think we may never get to see Pats' beautiful crown work courtesy of Armani....
  8. Thx for the words and tips guys! Def appreciated.....and I'm going to take it all into account and go from there...could be the fin acting up, combined w/ nerves, for sure....I think it very well could just be the latter now...thx again!
  9. I can see why you would want a HT, but it's not like there would be a unanimous consensus that you'd need one.
  10. Possibly, this isn't a topic that typically goes here, but it's really gnawing at me and I'm def seeking as many words of wisdom as possible. I've always felt that hairloss has ties -- even if it's just irrational and emotional -- to our perceived virility. I pretty much have a totally suiting head of hair now -- an attribute, dare I say. However, I still feel myself to be a bald guy in a certain respect.....I mean, if I didn't feel some strong connection I probably wouldn't still be spending solid chunks of time on the forum. Anyways, pre-MPB if I had a problem with arousal it was too a question of too much arousal at the wrong times. Post-MPB, the opposite is suddenly coming to my suspicion. I recently started seeing a quintessentially amazing girl; like, truly....anyways, the two times things have "progressed" I had a terribly difficult time; the first had some booze involved so I guess that's just w/e. But, the 2nd there was total sobriety involved. I'm 23. Have I somehow been irreparably scarred by MPB and am psychosomatically lacking virility???? Or, is it a def possibility that it's simply nerves? I was/am quite nervous about it, mainly because I actually like the girl in question, and two my lack of experience. It just boggles my mind that I'm having *this* problem.....I'm not sure what direction to take, but I worry that if a prob exists it will eventually get compounded over time by a mental-blockade....

  12. We can't deal with absolutes on this; it is a matter of degree, and the winner of the game is who balances the degrees the best. Height and hairloss are aesthetics, and there are varying degrees of height and hair. There are a myriad of other aesthetic components, as well, and they all do the same thing -- impact how we look and are perceived. Yes, nobody gets sympathy for being bald, generally just some ridicule -- nobody with an "ugly" nose gets sympathy, either, nor one with ugly teeth, bone structure, ears..... There is some very sound advice and example in this thread; consciousness is a double-edged sword that allows us to use logic and convince ourselves of whatever it is we want, though. Work with what you have; cultivate changes you want; don't obsess over that which you can't. A recipe for success. Maybe hair and height are dealbreakers for *some* women with specific regard to *you*....so what....some people, girls and guys alike, are simply ugly and lack any semblance of aesthetic aptitude and have an even greater challenge. But the point is, it *is* a challenge. Not following some of the advice in this thread will simply make you more of a "dealbreaker" to even more women..... EDIT -- when I was younger I was a prototypical example of a good-looking guy with pretty much all my aesthetic cards in place.....hair, height, body, teeth, style etc.....I had *horrible* success with women...and it was squarely my personality and mind working against me. And I guarantee there were short, bald guys out there hooking up with if not dating women I'd have loved to be with.... Let's say everything Bro is saying is correct -- and I agree with much of it, if not all the facts -- how should we then proceed?
  13. We're bald; we don't have the luxury of being concerned with how knotty our curly locks are!!!!!
  14. You're kinda tweener, IMO. But, I'd def err on the side of enjoying what you have -- I'm pretty aggressive about this sort of thing, but I'd honestly wait. And I don't think the loss you do have is critically hurting your overal aesthetic....enjoy life, research HTs if the shit ever hits the fan!
  15. The month or so post-HT is never easy. Sheds do suck though, either way; I'm in the midst of one right now that's been stinging me at a particularly bad time. You should be pretty minto tho in a few months, so keep yer head up!
  16. Congrats! I trust this go around will yield a truly superior result! The pics look solid and this should def set you s8!
  17. Bro, if what you are saying is true (and I'm not saying it isn't) the bigger question that follows is what are you going to do about it. Also, and I'm not saying I actually happen to disagree w/ you, but there is no benefit that I see in taking your stance as opposed to say Bill's, Vasilius', etc.....it isn't even that they disagree with you so much as that they recognize the validity that exists in your posts and take it a step further by trying to combat it with silver linings and solutions, IMO.
  18. HLH has been smeared with Armani and Umar boys n' girls for a bit of time now....shills and otherwise. There is a reason they flock there. EDIT -- throw in LLLC fanboys too....
  19. Lookin' great man -- blue steel or no blue steel! You've come an extremely long way and it should just get better!
  20. I would say you have a benign skin/scalp infection that you're battling through.....it's a real bitch right now, but it's totally non-contagious and it'l clear up progressively over time. Also, I'd recommend Couvre as the best concealer for the scar.
  21. bro, I know what you mean...Vasilius does too, for sure. IMO, part of this "dilemma" on looks is the twisting that gender roles have gone through in recent time. What I think you are feeling -- and what most of us feel too -- is a sort of backlash. There's been this dogma that charachterizes men as chauvenistic fools with a concern simply for the aesthetic and how big a girl's tits are in proportion to how bulbous her lips are; and that women are in turn self-conscious creatures that just want a "decent" guy to be freed from the shackles of superficiality. The reality is that this is bullshit, which you clearly recognize. But it is Thunderdome out there -- I don't think we can easily say who is what and what what is. Looks and image are also two different things but are part and parcel; like Vasilius said, image can be glorified by humor, accomplishment, etc. I would prolly say that women care more about *image* than men....looks I would say is a division of image. The good thing is that even if we get screwed by looks, there are other components that comprise image. Just keep fighting.
  22. The stigma/taboo is two-pronged. Hair is tied to virility -- generally, as we grow, the growth of our hair becomes connected to our development into men. When we lose it, and then try to recover it, it's as if we are not only de-valued by a loss of virility, but that we are also trying to put a rug (mind the pun) over the damage, which, generically speaking, is unseemly for a man to be doing. That for so long it was the dreaded "plugs" that constituted the rug lends to a stigma of the pathetic. Also, rugs themselves have historically been so poor it has furthered the pathetic air attached to hairloss. It's very true that it's genetic. This doesn't help our cause in generating sympathy, though, if anything, it should. A fat person, e.g., has societal ties to our culture that it itself promotes.
  23. Wantego, I see what you're getting at now. I think, ultimately, we all agree that it is truly Russian Roulette with your body, and with the wealth of research available and elite clinics that are transparent the decision is simple, particularly when Bosley charges premium for their "services". If someone happens to find a Bosley doctor that has the ethics, reliability, and results of the Rahals, Fellers, H&Ws, et. al. by all means consider him.
