Question about coloring your hair

hey guys i have a quick question

 

I use this volumizing shampoo and on the back it shows steps that can further volumize your hair.

 

step 1 is the use of a blow dryer which i agree volumizes your hair

 

step 2 is using the conditioner..well forget this step

 

step 3 is what i have a question about. it says using hair color can also volumize your hair, i says it increases the diamater of your hair root.

 

so my question is this fact true?

has anyone tried this and seen results?

if anyone needs a word quote for quote i can get it

I do color my hair and in my experience I do think that coloring ones hair does at least temporarily increase the diameter of the hair shafts.

I go along with Pat, the dye will coat your hair, similar to many products that claim to thicken hair. This will add to the diameter of the hair follicle and its appearance of being thicker.

Yep..........I agree with the others. I use Just For Men color and do believe it increases the diameter of the shaft for a time.
