Senior Member Jotronic Posted November 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 10, 2009 This local patient came to Dr. Hasson to have his frontal scalp restored as well as his crown. 3339 grafts were placed to rebuild his hairline, the areas immediately behind, and for light coverage in the crown. Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted November 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 10, 2009 Great result! The transplanted hairs really have transitioned seamlessly with his native for a totally natural-looking result, even with short hair. ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. Senior Member M&M Posted November 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 10, 2009 Great results as usual. I especially like how this case demonstrates that in the right hands, one can get away with a very short cut and have it come off completely natural with no sign of a scar. It also never ceases to amaze me how much younger everyone looks with a good hairline to frame the face. Bill - Seemiller
Great looking result Joe. And he's able to get away with wearing a short hairdo with only minimal if any signs of thinning at all now. Nice work Dr. Hasson. Bill

Senior Member Jotronic Posted November 12, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 12, 2009 Hey all, Thank you for the great comments. Bishal82, His crown is thicker from graft work, not meds. He was on meds for a couple of years before his procedure. Senior Member Sparse Posted November 13, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 13, 2009 Very nice result, Joe - especially at 8 months out and "only" 3339 grafts. On the latter point, was that number of grafts chosen because: (a) it was all that could be harvested given donor laxity/density; (b) it was all the patient wanted to spend in one session; or © it was all that was needed to achieve the desired result? Also, regarding the donor scar . . . on the only post-HT profile pic, I believe I can make out the faint outline of the scar's path based on a slight difference in hair texture. It's very subtle, and I'm sure no one would notice - or if they did they'd likely just assume a little residual hat-head. Senior Member Jotronic Posted November 13, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 13, 2009 Sparse, Yes, at eight months he has progressed quite well. I do feel that he will improve further though. Regarding the numbers, his hair characteristics along with the relatively small areas of loss (relative to the size of his head) indicated that a larger session would not be necessary. He has plenty more, but there was no reason to push for more. H & W Doug
NewJack, This patient had 240 grafts placed in the crown. I am a salaried employee of Hasson and Wong since 2001. Opinions expressed are my own. Hassonandwong.com
