Guest
I've been taking Propecia daily for about 11 months now. It seems to have slowed the hair loss significantly, but it also seems to have slowed the growth of my beard. I admit to hate shaving but before the Propecia I would shave 2 to 3 times a weeks. Now, it's one time a week, and if I'm really lazy I can go longer without co-workers joking about being lazy. Is this a typical side effect? It doesn't bother me, but I'm just curious. Thanks, Joe
Guest
Uhm...maybe I'm the only one having this side effect?
Senior Member pushing 40 Posted August 6, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted August 6, 2006 No, it is a possible side effect: decreased body hair. DHT is not just responsible for making hair fall out on the scalp. It is also a major factor in body hair growth. Strange huh?
Regular Member DiggityDocMP Posted August 6, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted August 6, 2006 I have to shave everyday (job requirement). I could only wish it slowed down my facial hair growth, but I haven't noticed any effect on that although it would be nice...
