dreadnought
Dear community members. I'm new to the forum but have one burning question to the ones of you that know about the human healing organism. I am interested in HT but have this problem. Since the earliest age of about 12 years I expirience problems with outrer wounds. I had earrings done and had to remove them cuz of huge swellings and poss coming out of the holes til today! Just recently had a nippel pierced with the same results. After 2 weeks it swoll to a huge ball and I'm still treating it with anti biotics. At age of 20 I had a large zyst internally removed out of the anus area and under my arms. So it seems like anytime I hurt my skin with something a huge procedure of swellings and poss is guaranteed. Is it possible for a person with known issues like this and with neverending zyst buildup under my skin (Akne Til 28y!) to persue a procedure where a doctor spikes your scalp for about 1000 times, without any of those symptoms and a eventual swelling of major parts of the scalp. Thank you for caring T.

Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted July 22, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted July 22, 2008 Have you been diagnosed by a doctor/specialist w/ having an exact condition? I would look into this, if you haven't already, and seek some medical opinions. Ideally, I'd imagine, you may "just" have a low tolerance for skin trauma, which prolly' doesn't rule you out, but certaintly makes it likely that you could incur a tremendous amount of swelling, which some people do. Btw, bit too much information in parts! ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. No flash. Follicles have asked for centuries, in ten languages, as many times so as to confuse a mathematician. Enough is enough! Give me documentation or give me death! Regular Member tofueornottofue Posted July 22, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted July 22, 2008 Good news....through this forum you will find an answer to whether the HT route will work for you. I understand you are laying all of your cards on the table here with the medical history...but I have to agree with Thana...sometimes it's not a good idea to throw the baby out with the bath water! Best of luck T
Bill - Seemiller
dreadnought, Welcome to our forum community. Be sure to discuss all your concerns about postoperative healing and history of problems with a surgeon you are considering. He/she will then be able to lay out all the risks and decide whether or not you are a candidate for surgery. Best wishes, Bill
