Senior Member M&M Posted September 16, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted September 16, 2006 Bushy - it's looking great! Your month four photo really paints the picture well. The hairline thickness and naturalness never ceases to amaze me. I can't wait to see what another 8-12 months of growth brings! All the best! ___________________________ 1662 with Dr. Ron Shapiro - Spring 2006 1105 with Dr. Ron Shapiro - Fall 2009 M&M Weblog
Senior Member Bushy Posted September 18, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 18, 2006 Thanks, guys. Your supportiveness means a great deal. At this point, I can notice improvement every 3 or 4 days. Wish I could turn the hair-clock ahead a month or 2. ____________________________________ My blog. Senior Member Mark H Posted September 18, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted September 18, 2006 Bushy, I guess pictures just can't tell the whole story, because I look at your 1 year post op pics from your first HT, I'm I was thinking....where in the world is he going to put more hair...on the end of his nose?...lol Still, it does look like a great job, and I guess you're going to have more hair than a kupie doll in about 6 months...heh heh. Well done!! mark My Hair Loss Weblog
Senior Member Mark H Posted September 19, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted September 19, 2006 Okay I looked at the refresher pics that showed the bare spot a third of the way back so I get it now. I must say, your earlier picks tho, and I suppose the toppick etc that you used sure had me fooled. Best of luck on the 2nd HT. You're going to have a serious head of hair! mark h My Hair Loss Weblog
Bill - Seemiller
Bushy...looking good man! I have my surgery scheduled with Dr. Hasson on 10/19/2006. Senior Member Bushy Posted October 7, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2006 Well, I'm one week away from my 5 month pics, but couldn't resist showing off my newly refined Hasson hairline. ____________________________________ My blog. I went for the less-jagged one with HT #2, whioch I thought suited me better given my course, dark hair. ____________________________________ My blog. Regular Member london__lad Posted October 7, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted October 7, 2006 I think the second ht hairline suits you better. But I must say I think the first hairline looked great to. Your new hairline will frame your face better and looks more natural.
Senior Member Mark H Posted October 7, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2006 It looks great, although the photos may not tell the whole story, because your first one looks so good. You do seem to have made the widows peak a little more subtle in the second one. Both look great frankly. Did you go for more density at the hairline then? mark h My Hair Loss Weblog
Senior Member bayscholar Posted October 7, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2006 I would take either 1 or 2...looking soft and natural after round 2 I must say looks very real. plus this is 1 year vs 5months My Hair Loss Weblog

I really only had Dr. Hasson refine the hairline, though he did, in the process, add a bit of density where needed. ____________________________________ My blog. Dr. Hasson's reaction was kind of "this is still only 5 months . . . wait till it all grows out!" And thanks for the compliment. ____________________________________ My blog. Senior Member hairbank Posted October 19, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted October 19, 2006 Bushy- Lookin' good, my friend. Definite noticable thicking since last months update. The nice thing is that, at 5 months, you'll have significant thickening and growth in the crown. I'm a little over 8 months on crownwork from HT #2 and I believe I had new waive start coming in around 5-6 months so it's definitely slower than the rest. Thanks for the update...........keep postin' and enjoy the mop-o-hair on your noggin' Hairbank 1st HT 1-18-05 - 1200 FUT's 2nd HT 2-15-06 - 3886 FUT's Dr. Wong 3rd HT 4-24-08 - 2415 FUT's Dr. Wong GRAND TOTAL: 7501 GRAFTS current regimen: 1.25mg finasteride every other day My Hair Loss Weblog Disclaimer: I'm not a Doctor (and have never played one on TV ) and have no medical training. Senior Member Bushy Posted October 20, 2006 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2006 Thanks, guys. Hairbank, you're right: I'm glad the back part is filling in so soon, as I didn't expect much action there until month 7 or 8. Troy, yup -- I can't wait for the next few months to pass by (in hair time, that is). Spexie, I'm finally gonna meet the legend! ____________________________________ My blog.
