Regular Member psychopomp1 Posted May 15, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted May 15, 2011 Hi My Regaine (Rogaine) 5% solution is about to finish and now wish to purchase some more. I normally buy 6-9 months supply in one go. Now i'm thinking about buying a 9 month regaine foam supply as i've heard it absorbs better than liquid form and doesn't leave a flaky residue on the scalp. However i've also heard that the foam has an unpleasant smell which the liquid doesn't. Would love to hear from those who've gone from liquid>foam and what they think of the foam. Thanks

Senior Member orlhair1 Posted June 30, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 30, 2011 I switched to foam a couple years ago and found it easier to apply and less messy. It is unscented as well. The active ingredient is the same, so it really is a personal preference.
