mikebb
Hi All, Thinking about a HT in Thailand and came across Dr. Pong's website. Has anyone had a HT with him? how were the results, healing time, donor scar, etc?. Cheers for your honest advice, Mike.

mikebb
Hi Please Grow, When you say `Ive seen this guys work and its pretty good. His prices are really low also' are you referring to Dr. Pong from Thai Hair Clinic or Dr. Path (from your link)?. Have you had a HT with either of them or have you just seen photos on the web?. Also, I don't understand your reply: so do you recommend going with either of them or not?. Cheers, Mike.
Senior Member PLEASE GROW PLEASE Posted June 24, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 24, 2009 I was joking with the Pong comment . Have seen Dr Paths work online and it seems pretty good and his prices are incredible
Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted June 24, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 24, 2009 LOL! Dr. Path is unrivaled if you want to get a HT on the cheap -- he is your man. Of course, seeking out a HT on the cheap isn't advisable. Where do you live? Your best bet is doing some research, and taking advantage of free consults (live or online) with some elite clinics....Hasson&Wong, Ron Shapiro, Feller, Rahal, e.g. ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. Senior Member MikeTheDane Posted June 25, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 25, 2009 So how much DOES dr. path charge? Cheapest one i heard of was Dr. Mohmand (spelling?) at 0.8$ a graft for strip, unless i am mistaking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 11/04-07 - 800-1600 ish grafts - danish clinic - poor results 12/02-08 - 2764 grafts - Dr. Devroye - good result but needs hairline density 03/12-10 - 1429 grafts - Dr. Mohmand - result pending Feel free to visit my picture thread My Hair Transplant Photos - Surgery with Dr. Devroye Young lads below 25 unite! mikebb
Hi All-Thanks for replying . There are several posts praising Dr. Path, but I've seen only one about Dr. Pong . I'm currently in Asia. I'll probably need about 2500 grafts (3000 maybe pushing it). Would appreciate any further suggestions you guys can offer. Cheers, Mike.

Regular Member cautious Posted June 26, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted June 26, 2009 Hi Mikebb, I had a HT with DR Path a few weeks ago. So far am very pleased with the results & professionalism of his clinic. I would certainly reccomend him, cheers
mikebb
Thanks Cautious . Just confirming - you're talking about Dr. Path and not Dr. Pong, right?. Can you provide details on your HT? how many grafts? cost? how was the post-op recovery?. Cheers, Mikebb.
Regular Member cautious Posted June 29, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted June 29, 2009 Howdy Mikebb, Yes, Im talking about Dr Path. I had a bit over 3100 grafts. Its only been about 3 weeks but recovery so far is great. Donor area is looking and feeling great. recipient area very clean...have had a bit of shedding to transplanted hair but nothing much....overall very happy with results so far. I was "cautious" but very happy with my decision now!! I guess time will tell how the final results look., cheers
