hairformore
Hi New to Forum , had 3038 grafts by strip on Nov. 10th so am currently at 5 months. Surgeon was Mark Garbutt in Lajolla CA. So far very pleased with the hairline, but still hoping for more fill in on the crown, (Although the before and afters sure show a lot of improvement) Would love others thoughts on what I can still expect? Seems like month 4 is when things really started to improve Edited April 13, 2012 by hairformore
Senior Member Slickers Posted April 13, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted April 13, 2012 HfM looking right on track. That's pretty good coverage for 3000 grafts. Things only start kicking in around the 4 month mark so youve plenty more to look forward to....!

Regular Member Brad3451 Posted April 14, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted April 14, 2012 I agree that at 4 months good things moving more quickly. Have you started any meds such as propecia or proscar? Is nice to keep each pecious hair as long as possible.
hairformore
No propecia, I am on trt, and do blood work reguraly and last few times dht has been at good levels, and libido has been great , and I don't want to mess with this. I use 2 percent nizoral once a week, and a zinc based shampoo as my daily wash. I'm 45 and my hair has probably been at the same level since mid to late thirties, and my mom's dad had pretty much that hairline when he died in his seventies, so hoping maybe one more surgery next year, will give me an age appropriate hairline for rest of life
