Regular Member Jazzsnazz1 Posted January 23, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) given we don't know what the patient wanted, is this an acceptable transplant, and could the doctors listed here really do that much better? Senior Member Cant decide Posted January 24, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 24, 2013 It depends on how many grafts he received. That looks like approx. 2000 grafts which for that amount is not a bad result. Senior Member StaggerLee123 Posted January 24, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) Without any info it is tough to say if this was a success or not. He doesn't look damaged at the 12 month mark, although he looks very thin, so I suppose for a Bosley patient this would be considered a success. Who knows what his scar looks like. Regular Member Jazzsnazz1 Posted January 24, 2013 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 24, 2013 probably like crap, i was just surprised bosley showed an accurate representation of a hair transplant, not like the commercials you see at 4am where a nw6 goes to a nw1 with no signs of thinning at all

Regular Member ProteinPeep Posted January 24, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted January 24, 2013 Hey Jazzsnazz1, I had a transplant with Bosley and had an "ok" outcome. I wasn't completely satisfied so I went to Rahal to add more density. Based on my experience and from talking to others, they are a bit more conservative (in terms of the amount of grafts received in a single session) than the HT doctors on this site. I'm almost certain that most of those persons that they show in those infamous commercials had more than one HT. However, most of the top surgeons on this site can routinely obtain a very dense result in one pass. To be fair though, I did a google search on this guy, and he had another transplant by Bosley last year. His hair is looking MUCH better.
