Averageg grafts per sq cm in crown

Typically, what is the average grafts per sq cm planted in the crown? I assume for most, they don't have too much donor to dedicate to the crown so I would guess most patients get between 30-40 in the crown (while its more like 45-60 in the front).

As long is it is distributed appropriately in the crown, one should be able to achieve a reasonably decent density.

Can't,

I agree: implanted density is likely (normally) lower in the crown. A lot of physicians believe crown work "eats up" a lot of grafts, and many don't like dedicating FUGs that could be used in the more visible hairline and frontal scalp. Like you said, if normal transplanted density is somewhere around 50-60 grafts/cm^2, the crown is probably something closer to 40-45.

I believe that SMG plants crowns at no more that 35 in most cases.
