Regular Member Aardvark2q Posted May 3, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted May 3, 2013 I opted for a hair transplant a couple of years ago. Went to a top 5 clinic in Minneapolis. Biggest mistake of my life. I've gone from being a guy with a receding hairline to a guy who wears a hat at all hours of the day to hide his hair plugs. Are there any resources or previous threads about reversal? Are there any clinics that specialize in identifying which follicles are grafts and then removing them without further damage? Through electrolysis maybe? Thanks in advance.
Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted May 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 3, 2013 Aardvark, While you can have the grafts removed via the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) process, most clinics usually prefer to fix substandard or sparse work with additional hair transplant surgery. If you're completely against the idea of more surgery (which I understand), it may be worthwhile to research extraction of the grafts. However, in my honest opinion, I think augmenting the existing work would be the most effective treatment. Care to share any images of the work?
