Restoration removal

I opted for a hair transplant a couple of years ago. Went to a top 5 clinic in Minneapolis.

Biggest mistake of my life. I've gone from being a guy with a receding hairline to a guy who wears a hat at all hours of the day to hide his hair plugs.

Are there any resources or previous threads about reversal?

Are there any clinics that specialize in identifying which follicles are grafts and then removing them without further damage? Through electrolysis maybe?

Thanks in advance.

Aardvark,

While you can have the grafts removed via the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) process, most clinics usually prefer to fix substandard or sparse work with additional hair transplant surgery. If you're completely against the idea of more surgery (which I understand), it may be worthwhile to research extraction of the grafts. However, in my honest opinion, I think augmenting the existing work would be the most effective treatment.

Care to share any images of the work?

what is the exact problem with your hair transplant result?

can you be a bit more specific?

or post some pictures?

what level Norwood were you pre-op?

how many grafts were transplanted?

what were your pre-op goals/expectations?

who was the doctor?

Dr. Dow Stough - 1000 Grafts - 1996

Dr. Jerry Wong - 4352 Grafts - August 2012

Dr. Jerry Wong - 2708 Grafts - May 2016

but it doesn't stop the clock.
