Senior Member chrisdav Posted May 23, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 23, 2013 Great work. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.

Senior Member StaggerLee123 Posted May 24, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2013 Is it just me or does it look kinda pluggy? I was thinking the same thing as I saw the first pics but that last pic of the hairline did it for me. To me it looks pluggy and there is no transition zone, it's bald forehaed scalp and then bam!...full density in about one centimeter. The last pic just doesn't look natural to me, the others seem better.

Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted May 24, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2013 Taco, I agree: the patient is definitely wearing concealer in the post-operative images, and I believe this is what the other members are referring to. Regardless, I think this is a great result! Senior Member HARIRI Posted May 24, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2013 Yeah looks like Toppik for real, I know it from the color. I'm a concealer expert and been using them since 2009. Regular Member FellerMedical Posted May 24, 2013 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 24, 2013 There were some questions about plugs and concealer on this patient. He is not wearing any concealing products and no plugs or minigrafts were used. Dr. Feller makes a transition zone of about 1/4 inch of purely 1 hair follicular units in the hairline. Here are some photos that may help to clear everything up. He is extremely happy and will be coming back for more surgery for the top behind the transplants where he is now thinning. Thank you all for your comments and interest. Senior Member Mickey85 Posted May 24, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2013 (edited) People were not saying mini-grafts or plugs were used, just that the result looked pluggy. The photos to me did not scream "pluggy!!" but it does LOOK like concealer was used... I'm sure the result was great though. Senior Member greatjob Posted May 25, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 25, 2013 I don't think anyone is accusing Dr. Feller of using concealer in any of his photos, but since the patient sent in the pics that wouldn't be the case anyways. To me it definitely looks like the patient is wearing concealer and probably didn't disclose that fact when he sent in the pics. Either that or he is using some weird hair products
