Can Scalp Laxity be better in your second FUT?

I have been doing allot of laxity exercises in getting ready for my procedure in August which will be my second. I have really been aggressive with the pushing of the scalp. Even more so then when I went for my first procedure.

It may be my imagination but it really seems like my laxity is even better than it was during before my first procedure. Much better in fact.

My average donor density was about 118 grafts per sq cm in my first procedure so I am hoping that even if it has dropped to an average of 85 and considering the fact that my scar is 1 mm in most places, the hope is that Dr. Rahal can take out a 1.3-1.4 cm wide x 35 cm long strip x 85 grafts per sq cm and get me the 4000 grafts I want for round 2.

He stated during my consult that 3500-4000 will be no issue and that was before my laxity exercises so I think I should be good.

Hard to say if you have even better laxity than the first procedure however having said that, your consistent and persistent stretching efforts are going to help you very much.

The key is to have enough laxity for the second proposed strip, or better stated "adequate" laxity.

Dr. Rahal will undoubtedly test it before he starts and trust me, he will not risk the scar over graft count.

Congrats on your second upcoming procedure! :)
