Regular Member lana Posted August 7, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted August 7, 2013 HI, I am 1 month post op Fue Ht on my forehead. I have these goose bumps all over and redness in the recipient area. Is this normal and will it subside. I am so anxious and paranoid because it looks like cobble stone effect. Please advise what can be done.

Senior Member Spanker Posted August 7, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2013 Its probably foliculitis. Contact your doctor. Senior Member Nick153452 Posted August 7, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2013 Foliculitis? I've never seen foliculitis look like this.... Senior Member Fue123 Posted August 7, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2013 Yea best case scenario is its folliculitis but as nick said it really doesn't look typical for folliculitis. It could be the opposite of cobble stoning...
Regular Member lana Posted August 8, 2013 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 8, 2013 Thank you for your replies. I have been in touch with the clinic and will go there to review the problem with the doctor. Just in case it is ridging is there any solution to smoothen them out? I'v heard about steroid injections.
Senior Member agenteye Posted August 8, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 8, 2013 Iana- Sorry to see that your concerned with your procedure. Hopefully your clinic can advise a solution to why your scalp reacted the way it did. At a month out, it definitely looks as if your recipient area has "pitted"....but again, the clinic will advise you how to proceed with the next steps. Just out of curiosity, was your surgeon one who is recommended on this forum?? Please keep us updated after you visit your clinic, and let us know what was said! Good Luck! Do you have a picture? It is hard for anyone (especially the Drs which look at these forums) to comment without at least being able to take a look.
