Senior Member SV_08 Posted August 21, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 21, 2013 So exactly 5 months ago I had my 2nd HT. Approx 2900 grafts w Dr. Reed in San Diego. I had restored the hairline, temple points and the front third/vertex. The only growth I've seen thus far has been the small temple point areas. Right above my sideburns and into the 'corners'. That is all. Absolutely nothing how even hinted at sprouting anywhere else. I know everyone says to be patient, but shouldn't I at least start to see the beginning of something at this point? Hard to believe that its all going to just happen over the next month or two. Any advice or help appreciated. HT2 - March, 2013. 2933 grafts. HT1 - June, 2006. 800 grafts. Senior Member hsrp10 Posted August 21, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 21, 2013 Is Dr. Reed on the recommended coalition member list? Have you contacted him about the lack of growth? Your 1st HT results were great, guess best to try to wait it out for growth to come. Most veterans will iterate that it is still relatively early in the process. Senior Member greatjob Posted August 21, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 21, 2013 Do you have any pre-op and current pictures? Some times it's hard to see the forest through the trees. It's still early and some people grow later, but for me month 5 is when I really noticed a big change.

Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 22, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 22, 2013 Spirall08, Do you have any recent pics you can share? I don't know if you're aware but Dr. Reed has retired and his practice has been taken over by Dr. Carman. You may want to contact him and have him evaluate your progress. Regular Member oze22 Posted December 13, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted December 13, 2014 I also have had two HT procedures, my first I saw good growth after 5 months (Dr White Australia) and I knew something was wrong in my second HT (Dr Madhu India) when I had no growth after 5 months. So I would be very concerned.
