Senior Member Dr. Hakan DOGANAY Posted October 10, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) These are 2800 grafts 15 months results from the first operation of a 32 years old man. A second operation will be done. He doesn't use any medicine for his hair. For this operation, Choi Implanter Pen technique was used. With this technique, we use small pen needles which has 6-7-8 mm diameters for planting grafts into recipient sites. After the surgery, patient's recovery is faster and the result is natural. You can see some other results posted by the former patients and our clinic: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/172525-hair-transplant-patient-week-cenkoa01s-4-500-graft-fue-dr-doganay.html Hair Restoration Social Network - Hair Loss and Transplant Photos Hair Restoration Social Network - Hair Loss and Transplant Photos http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/172270-new-pictures-4500-grafts-after-7-month-hakan-do-anay.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171807-dr-hakan-doganay-8384-grafts-6554-1830-fue.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/168673-3530-850%3D4380-grafts-dr-hakan-doganay.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171232-4000-grafts-dr-hakan-doganay.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171075-i-had-hair-transplant-doctor-hakan-doganay.html To extract the grafts from the donor area, we use small blade called micro-motor, it has 0.7-0.8 mm diameter and does not harm donor hairs' roots. Senior Member Mickey85 Posted October 11, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2013 For the level of loss and the amount of grafts used, this one procedure has taken years of this patient. A second procedure would wrap things up nicely. The only 2 threads you will ever need: Revamped Advantages/Disadvantages of FUE. Myths dispelled. Educate yourself Everything FUE. I am also balding similarly. I want to see whether he also lost his crown area or not and whether HT was done by you in that area. It will be good if you can post few immediate post op pictures, that will give us an idea about the areas where you put the grafts.
Senior Member HARIRI Posted October 18, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 18, 2013 Dr. Hakan, just a question please. If you look at the patient's 15 months post op photos, you can see that his midscalp crown is thin. How more grafts do you think he needs to cover it? I think my midscalp crown is soon to be similar to him in a year or two time.
