Regular Member Dave160 Posted January 11, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted January 11, 2014 Hi guys, I've just had an HT by FUE with Dr Lorenzo in Manchester. I'm post op 5 days and am wondering if the grafts that have been implanted actually grow before they inevitably shed? My native hair is now growing albeit a bit of shock loss behind the recipient site Also, my recipient area along my hairline is incredibly itchy and its driving me mad. Is this normal so early after an HT? I know I daren't scratch so keep spraying the area with saline Thanks in advance
Senior Member JayWalker Posted January 11, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted January 11, 2014 They sure do. Itching is common, definitely dont scratch, you're doing the right thing with the spray. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=10024&WebID=2832 October 2011 - 1647 FUT - Dr Dorin January 2014 - 1580 FUT - Dr Dorin

Senior Member Since21 Posted January 12, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted January 12, 2014 I think most people retain and grow some of the original transplanted grafts through the shedding phase. Itchiness is normal. Get ready for all sorts of funny sensations in your scalp in the coming weeks. 3,425 FUT grafts with Dr Raymond Konior - Nov 2013 1,600 FUE grafts with Dr Raymond Konior - Dec 2018
