Regular Member HermanCobb Posted July 29, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted July 29, 2014 Apart from genetics oily scalp can be because of pollution and not proper removal of natural oil from your scalp. You have to wash your hair more in a week if you are having oily scalp. Your oil glands get more active if you are at puberty. Female have fast to fatten oily hair problem, then male. But the main reason is genetics.
