Does Q switched laser or Picosure kill hair follicles?

I had smp done to camouflage my strip scar. I tried FUE before and I have fair amount of hair on the scar. I don't want to kill my hair, but my smp keeps smearing and turned blue. If I use these 2 lasers, will I risk removing my hair permanently?

It should not be a problem. We have many patients who are laser removing smp and are between transplants. I have seen it cause shock loss - but, the hair all back in like normal!

I am Asian and have black and coarse hair which is perfect for laser hair removal. I fear that my hair absorbs too much energy. Is there something I need to be concerned about? Did they used q-switched or picosure?

I have had patients use both! I have a patient who posted a thread on here I don't know the exact title but it's "permanent pigmentation major repair - trico/fue combo" or something like that. His name is mmac. He had 11 laser treatments during his FUE process attempting to remove some permanent pigmentation. Msg him about his experience and I'm sure he will be glad to chat with you.
