abhijeet
I am 20. I am not lossing hairs as such but when I shampoo I loose about 10-11 hairs (I have short hair). My hairline also looks different from a photo 1.5 years old. What is your opinion Edited April 8, 2021 by abhijeet I have added a 1 .5 years old photo

Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted April 7, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 7, 2021 It’s hard to say, my hairline was like that at your age. But it doesn’t look too receded. Senior Member Future Hair Doc Posted April 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted April 8, 2021 It looks more that your hairline is maturing than MPB at this stage, based on the photos you shared. 1 My advice does not constitute a patient-physician relationship nor as medical advice and all medical questions/concerns should be addressed to your medical provider. Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted April 8, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 8, 2021 The hairline is slightly receding. At age 20 it could become a real problem in years to come. I think it would be a good idea to be proactive and get on hair loss medications such as finasteride and minoxidil. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. Senior Member Britanium Posted April 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted April 8, 2021 10-11 is nothing in losing hairs... we actually lose a lot more than that. Between 50-100 is usual in anybody ! I also think it’s a maturing hairline. But definitely keep a pic record to see if it’s progressing to MPB. Not so sure I would commit to meds without some talk with a dermatologist and your Dr. It’s would be a lifetime commitment and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Especially at just 20. Something to consider maybe..
