razwwan
Hello, I am new here, I just decided to do a hair transplant and while looking for clinics I came across this wonderful forum, as far as I know I would need about 4500-5000 graphs, do you have any recommendations for Turkey? The budget is quite limited, I can't afford 10k+ eur, I am very careful because the decision I make is only once in my life and I would like to have good results. In the first phase I contacted the people from Hair of Istanbul where I was told that I needed two sessions, for the first session to do my front and in the second session to do my crown area and the price was 5k eur for the first session and 4k eur for the second session. Then I asked at Long Hair Center where I was charged 2300 euro for about 4500-4800 graphs, and the difference is quite large between clinics and I am already confused. I really need your help with some recommendations I have attached some pictures to give you an idea of what stage I am in. Thank you
Senior Member Britanium Posted August 30, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted August 30, 2021 Please be careful here, you are looking at “hair mill” type clinics. You don’t want a tech driven procedure, you need to be choosing a Clinic which ensures you have a Drs involvement. I’m also wondering your age and if your on any meds ? Fin/Minox is going to be a good idea for retaining the hair you have at present and will reinforce your donor area. Choose a poor clinic and you will end up regretting it and having to seek a repair job later on. It’s not worth taking any risks here. The usual recommended places are Dr Bicer, HLC, Dr Pekiner and Dr Keser. Or of you want a affordable clinic which still has Dr involvement then look at Dr Yaman and Dr Demirsoy. All of these are proven Drs with consistent results.
Senior Member Britanium Posted August 30, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted August 30, 2021 You could also look at Eugenix (India) as they are particularly good with the higher Norwood levels. Even the lower tier options are far better than the clinics your currently looking at.

Anything lower than this is “hair mill” territory. You may want to consider meds, worth talking to your own Dr and a dermatologist. Your going to keep losing hair otherwise, and from what I can see you still have some hair to save. At just 29 your hair loss is already Norwood 5 + with a clear 6 pattern very evident. It's genetic, I have the same hairline as my father and grandfather.

It's genetic, I have the same hairline as my father and grandfather. At your age I would definitely consider it. It will help you retain your current hair. It can also strengthen your donor area. If not you will have to accept it will head most likely toward a full Norwood 6. And that might require even more future procedures.
Senior Member Britanium Posted August 30, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted August 30, 2021 Dr Bicer is €1.50 per graft for automated FUE. Definitely worth considering since she is also very experienced with the higher Norwood levels.

Senior Member MachoVato Posted August 30, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted August 30, 2021 Avoid Long Hair Center. The only budget clinic in Turkey I could consider is FueCapilar (Dr. Turan and Dr. Gur). The doctors do the extraction and incisions, 1 or 2 patients per day. Of the results I've seen, I prefer Dr. Gur but both seem to have happy customers. Worth looking into. Good luck! HLC Ankara | 4261 Grafts | Nov 7, 2020 (Hairline) Dr. Bisanga, BHR Clinic in Brussels | 1528 Grafts | Aug 12, 2021 (Crown and Temples)

Regular Member Fabulous Posted August 31, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted August 31, 2021 If I were you I would start using minoxidil 5% and/or taking finasteride(1mg/day) right now and look to book the operation with Bicer/Demirsoy/Yaman in the spring next year, just to give meds some time to do the work.
Valued Contributor Berba11 Posted September 1, 2021 Valued Contributor Share Posted September 1, 2021 If cost is an issue, from my own research I'd be looking only at 3 very excellent options: Bicer, Demirsoy or one of the more affordable Eugenix packages that include Dr Arika's involvement. Each of those clinics have loads and loads of patient testimony on here and other forums.
razwwan
Thanks guys for suggestions. I contacted Dr. Bicer, she told me that I needed 3,500 graphs and in 3-5 years to do another transplant I also got in touch with the people from Fuecapilar with Dr. Turan, he said that my alopecia level is Norwood V-Va he seemed the best so far, he asked me for extra pictures and he advised me to take fin and min for 9-12 months before transplant because my hair looks weak and thin so with the medication it will improve and after the ht the results are gonna be good, otherwise it could be a fall again, losing the results of it, I'm surprised he gave me this advice, it shows that he cares about his patients I also got in touch with Eugenix, they told me that I have Norwood Grade IV (Dr. Turan said I am Norwood V-Va) and that I need 3700 graphs, 2500 on the front and 1200 on the crown and that I don't need graphs on the middle , that part will be fixed with Fin I think I will start the treatment with fin and min for a year and after that I will make a decision where to do the transplant, I dont want to rush and regret the decision later Edited September 1, 2021 by razwwan
