Roy
I am 32/Male with substantial hair loss in the crown area. Fortunately frontal hairline is still intact and has good density. I am considering my first transplant procedure in the next few weeks. I live in Madison, Wisconsin and am willing to drive a few hundredd miles for the right doctor . I've heard rave reviews about Dr. Ron & Paul Shapiro in Minneapolis and had already set my mind on going with their clinic. However I can easily drive to Chicago as well and looks like there are a few there I could consider such as Dr. Ray Konior or Dr. Vladimir Panine. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance. Senior Member Rachmunas4life Posted March 9, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2010 I had an in person consultation with both Dr. Shapiro and Dr. Konior. They are actually my two favorite H/T surgeons since I joined here a few years ago. Get a consultation from all three of them. I believe they are all free. coltz18
I would recommend Dr Panine. I will not know the results for quite sometime. But the clinic was nice, the staff was great, the dr was awesome and addressed my concerns. The price was very reasonable.
Senior Member Forrest Gump Posted March 9, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted March 9, 2010 I like the results that are consistently turned out by the Shapiro clinic. However, I have also seen some impressive work from Konior and Panine. So IMO, you can't go wrong with any of these doctors. You might want to carefully go through detailed pictures (pre and post-op) of these doctors' patients and then see whose style you like the most. (I myself used a similar criteria when I chose my HT surgeon).
