Senior Member hairman22 Posted November 11, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 11, 2021 (edited) Im getting smp for my scalp & crown mostly. I little concerned the crown is a bit bare but i have cut it shorter to blend in with the hairs that are left And the smp artist as said it is a simple job to do. I saw him in person. Senior Member LaserCaps Posted November 11, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 11, 2021 Just make sure it is SMP and not a tatoo. Turning green or purple down the road would not be a good thing. Are they using organic ink? Did they tell you how long it will last? If done correctly it should help. What medical therapies are you currently doing to help you with retention? 1 Patient Consultant for Dr. Arocha at Arocha Hair Restoration. If the smp goes well I may transition to a short hairtyle with smp in the future. They guy thats doing it had smp himself looked so realistic I had to ask was it smp to be sure
Senior Member LaserCaps Posted November 11, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted November 11, 2021 Perhaps consider some of the other modalities to help you with retention so the area does not get any worse. Rogaine, PRP, Laser. What happened with Fin? Just curious. Patient Consultant for Dr. Arocha at Arocha Hair Restoration. Both the shaved head look and their density stuff looks pretty awful. Most of the “after” pictures have very unnatural looking hairlines, and the pictures are low quality which I suspect is intentional so you can’t see how bad it looks up close. compare it to the place I went and you will see there’s a huge difference: https://instagram.com/hairline_ink?utm_medium=copy_link

Not even close to flawless. the second one looks better but two issues there. First off you never ever want SMP all the way to a hairline on a density treatment. It will end up looking like the person buzzed their hair all around their hairline. The second issue is again the pictures are so low quality (and also dark) that you can’t see it well. this is one of the worst SMP results I’ve ever seen: https://www.instagram.com/p/CVFV-xOKbVH/?utm_medium=copy_link This is a truly awful hairline and the temple points look horrific: https://www.instagram.com/p/CRkDdm-qKyn/?utm_medium=copy_link I’m just trying to help you out man, but it’s your head and your life so I’ll leave you to it. Senior Member hairman22 Posted January 5, 2022 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 5, 2022 https://www.instagram.com/p/CYR1bueKryT/ decent result. Although I am having an issue with fading. I should have went to a different SMP artist near me Arwii scalp. Much better results. But not the end of the world. Decent result in the end. @EvoXOhioresults are better. But with SMP it is harder to travel & wait weeks for sessions. For my next transplant I will travel of course
