Senior Member EvoXOhio Posted December 5, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted December 5, 2021 Results look great but your title is incorrect - this gentleman is not blonde.
Senior Member follically challenged Posted December 5, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted December 5, 2021 Nice result, but this person is not blonde. It would be beneficial to correct the title to 'brown haired'. Please don't give fake hope to us fine-haired blondies lol
Senior Member ciaus Posted December 5, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted December 5, 2021 Nice work, especially like the natural looking temple restoration. On the blondeness topic, its funny. Since there's a wider spectrum of hair coloring in North America and Europe, what qualifies as "blondness" to us is usually much lighter than in other parts of the world - Like Latin/Southern America, East Asia, and the folks at Eugenix in India, where almost everybody's hair is a very dark brown or black. To them someone with light brown highlights stands out as being relatively 'blonde' in comparison. Got me thinking about the western movie "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" with Clint Eastwood. Where Clint Eastwood is referred to as a blonde, the Tuco character even nicknames him 'Blondie'. Even though Clint had a medium brown coloring similar to this patient. I think we're seeing the same classification tendency at work here.

Though, I’d call this guy more of a medium brown. 1 Quote I was just an inch away from booking a a hairmill based on google reviews before i stumbled upon this goldmine of a forum. However, while hair color is somewhat relative to the usual shade a country predominantly has, I still think the generally accepted (almost universal) definition of 'blonde' is pale/golden yellow. I just did a quick definition out of interest: "Blond or fair hair, also blonde, is a hair color characterized by low levels of the dark pigment eumelanin. The resultant visible hue depends on various factors, but always has some yellowish color. The color can be from the very pale blond to reddish "strawberry" blond or golden-brownish blond colors" It's a tough one. Though to be honest, i dare even say that those lighter colors seem artificial to me, perhaps dyed, as the color seems different in the results pic.... Overall, I guess it comes down to the interpreter, though here in Europe that color would NOT be considered blonde.
