Nmullane
Thanks for the reply. What clinic did you use so I can avoid
Senior Member Britanium Posted February 21, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted February 21, 2022 Why Turkey? 99.9% of clinics are hair mills or just generally poor. Dr Bicer is €2 per graft and only does 1 patient per day. The other clinic which is forum recommended is Dr Yaman. The other ones which are worth a look are Dr Demirsoy, Dr Keser, HLC and Turan/Gur. That’s pretty much it ! Simply put you can do better looking elsewhere in Europe. If you can’t afford the lower cost options then you need to save. You have not given any information on yourself ? Age, med regime, current Norwood level, goals + pics would help.
Nmullane
Thanks. Where are these clinics? I’m 51 and thinning on top. Shouldn’t need a full transplant. I had thought of turkey as I’ve heard lots of people travel there to get this done.
Senior Member NARMAK Posted February 21, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted February 21, 2022 Turkey isn't going to generally garner good responses for all the reasons mentioned above but it does have a few people recommend by the forum. Although there's also other International destinations too for those a bit more budget conscious. Ultimately you need to know why you need a hair transplant, what number of approximate grafts you need and then try saving up towards it. In the meantime you may wish to take medication if you already aren't and use that 12+ months time to learn and educate yourself on the procedures, set your expectations and hopefully be aware of complications. A lot of people usually who don't know much end up in Turkey and get bad results even when shown flashy Instagram results that did appear on the surface to work out. 1 Follow my first Hair Transplant Journey!
