Regular Member Warriors123 Posted July 20, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted July 20, 2022 After a FUT hair transplant how long can you get back into running, swimming, gym workouts etc? From what I understand, the main reason not to exercise too early is the affect it might have on the FUT scar healing? Not the Grafts?
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted July 20, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 20, 2022 Heavy lifting around 6 months. Avoid anything that puts tension on your neck and head. How about playing cricket is that ok? Yes I would consider this heavy lifting unless the dumbells are light. However, the way I look at it is that, I will do everything in my control to ensure I get the best surgical outcome for the rest of my life. If that means I don't train heavy for three months then I'd rather err on the side of caution. Also if you end up with a bad FUT scar you know that it wasn't something that you did that could have caused it. Regular Member Toot Posted July 21, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted July 21, 2022 Hi this is a great question. Is it a recommendation for 6 months for FUE procedures too?

No. Two weeks is plenty but I would always go by your surgeon's advice. 1 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix
