Hairtransplant570
Hello everyone, I’m 27 and got my first HT done just over 15 months ago at Dr. Bloxham’s clinic in New York. Dr. B was super easy to talk to and work with and I felt comfortable from the start. The only time i was concerned was during the implantation stage. The technicians argued with each other over the height of the chair and their discomfort several times and was somewhat stressful to listen to as I didnt want them to mess up. Other than that, the FUT procedure went well and I was on my way. Fast forward 15 months and I’m fully grown in. The only concerns I have with the result is that there is a multi on my left side in the front and also I’m worried a good amount of the hairs were misangled. Let me know what you all think about that and the work overall. I reached out to Dr. B with photos and he thought it was just a maturation issue that would be fixed in the coming months. I am currently on finansteride 1mg 5 times a week and have taken that for just over 2 years. I also have been taking 1.25mg oral minoxidil for the past 8 months and dutasteride .5mg twice a week for the past year. First Week: 4 Months: 12 Months: 15 Months:

Senior Member Hair4Days Posted August 5, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted August 5, 2023 Great result. Did dr B mention what your future may look like? Looks like you have strong hair remaining. In the event of more loss, does he plan on doing 2 more strips? Curious if fue was an option for a case less than 2000 grafts
Regular Member JoeD Posted August 6, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted August 6, 2023 I think this looks good. Natural looking hairline, but would be better if you had a pre-post image showing a more zoomed out view of both sides together. Re the one single mis-angled graft in left…. I had the same. Overall thrilled with my result, but one single hair just didn’t grow out same way as others. Initially I would just pluck it out with tweezers a couple times a month, but then let it grow out and I was essentially able to train it to go up with rest of my hair, so now I just leave it alone and it doesn’t bother me. santana
not the first time a patient has mentioned that techs at Bloxham's practice made them feel uncomfortable. I consulted with him but because of this I decided it wasn't worth it. Edited August 6, 2023 by santana
Regular Member hairman4321 Posted August 8, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted August 8, 2023 (edited) Wow, great outcome and looks very natural. I have very similar hair, hair type and skin colour and just want my temples done as well (pics here) - very comforting that we can get great results! At 4 months its not even noticable you've had it done unless someone was to inspect probably.@Hairtransplant570 was it like this earlier too? what was it like at month 1, 2, 3? Congratulations Edited August 8, 2023 by mark91

Way more money than I'd like to spend, but to me he has the most natural hairlines. Two concerns I do have if I'm being honest is 1) there were a couple of Wesley cases on here that didn't go well. 2) Lighting in his photos appear to be different. With that being said I have spoken to a couple of previous patients and it does appear to be really high quality work work.
