Senior Member Hairwolf Posted February 23 Senior Member Share Posted February 23 looking good here- the thick wavy hair calibre contributes to a great density. Looks natural and a milestone reached! My hair does help with the illusion of density. While i want more denisty, I don't think anyone could tell I had a transplant. Even when I wake up or take my hat off it looks good enough. My journey. Regular Member Cooper48 Posted February 26 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 26 Here is a picture of my crown towel dried after a shower so it is a little wet. When dry it looks a little better. It looks a little thin in harsh light but overall not that bad for 5 months. What do you think? 3 My journey. Regular Member Cooper48 Posted April 16 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 16 Hi Everyone, Here are some pics from a little after the 6 month mark. This is freshly out of the shower with damp hair. Probably the worst it ever looks. I'm very happy so far. Obviously I hope it continues to thicken but throw in a little hair powder and it looks great. I've been wearing hats religiously for 15+ years and now I barely wear one. Mission accomplished. 1 My journey. Regular Member Cooper48 Posted May 27 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 27 Hi Everyone. I'm at the 8 month mark. Not much more growth. The pictures are in pretty harsh light and fresh out of the shower with a hand comb. I think the crown looks a little better from 6 months but hard to tell. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the outcome. May want a touch up at some point but this will last me for years. 1 My journey. Regular Member hdr13 Posted May 28 Regular Member Share Posted May 28 IMO, the crown looks great. Even with natural hair, the crown scalp is still visible. I'd call that a win-win.

Regular Member Cooper48 Posted August 30 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 30 Thanks everyone! Still happy with the result. Hasn't changed much but feel it is great for a single pass. I've had many compliments about my hair (not knowing I had anything done). People say things like you look great with longer hair, etc. My hair isn't longer, just more on the top :). Hope everyone is doing well. I'll share some more pics in a few weeks when I hit the year mark and get a haircut. My journey. Regular Member HairyCarey Posted September 3 Regular Member Share Posted September 3 great progress. I'm trying to time my HT procedure, as I want to do it in October, but I have a friends bachelor party in early January...... Will it mess up the HT if I shave my head completely on Month 3 while its growing in? I feel like that would make it look the best right? Regular Member jetski Posted September 26 Regular Member Share Posted September 26 What’s the typical waiting period from first consultation to surgery?
Regular Member Falling Posted September 27 Regular Member Share Posted September 27 (edited) As far as I know the consultation is the day before surgery. But he will also give you a first opinion based on the pictures you send him prior to making the booking. The waitlist for Dr. Laorwong is around 6 months Edited September 27 by Falling
