Update: I’ve decided to buzz my hair (albeit not as short as it has turned out, I was looking for double the current length) 🤣 being without hair for so long made me forget just how tiresome maintaining hair is. I am starting to think about a second surgery, I know only a few posts ago I said I would wait, but it is definitely crossing my mind more these days. Hopefully this post sheds some light on the healing process.
Regular Member Bej520 Posted July 8 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 8 Proposed second hair transplant, circa 3500 grafts with 2000 in area A, 1000 in B and 500 in C. Grafts to be sourced primarily from donor area, which I normally have skin faded so I don’t mind, and maybe 500 from the beard. Let me know your thoughts.

Should give a full frontal half for sure.
Regular Member hair_forever Posted July 9 Regular Member Share Posted July 9 How old are the last photos you posted? On the mid the regrowth was not high but overall the area to be covered was very large. Then I think there are still months left to evaluate the first intervention again. I don't know if I've already asked you this but, do you perform treatments?

Senior Member AGL77 Posted August 4 Senior Member Share Posted August 4 Do you know where the chest and beard hairs were implanted? Can you tell the difference? And how’s the growth of the chest/bread hairs?

Not enough to be able to tell you how the growth is, I monitor the progress as a whole which is easier for me. 1

I think I’ll tend do keep it short, but I am interested in seeing what growing my hair out will look like so I’ll give it a go.

Probably silly, but the self conscious feeling I used to get when first balding was awful, and I think avoiding it may be better for me. For special occasions I may ask my barber to apply some and get a picture of what is looks like.
