Alexandre Valentim Aledi
Hello guys, My name is Alexandre Valentim and I'm here to share my experience with hair transplant. I never imagined I would be able to have 7,144 grafts transplanted in a single day! I am extremely grateful to Dr. Felipe Pittella, he worked true magic! My time at the clinic was quite smooth, considering the circumstances. At the beginning of the operation, I felt some pain, but it soon improved. It was a really long day; I arrived at 6:30 in the morning and only left at 9 p.m. It's incredible how everything happened in just one day! I hope to regularly share updates about my recovery and the progress of my hair transplant here on the forum. Feel free to follow my journey and ask any questions that arise. Perhaps my experience can help someone who is considering getting a hair transplant. Thank you very much for your attention,
Moderators Al - Moderator Posted February 26 Moderators Share Posted February 26 Welcome to the forums. Thanks for posting. It looks like they sure did pack a lot of grafts in there... even in the crown. If everything grows in the way it should then this will be an excellent result. Keep us updated. Senior Member Bandit90 Posted February 27 Senior Member Share Posted February 27 Wow, now that is dense! Are you on meds? Also are the 7k grafts all from the scalp, or did you use beard? No doubt this going to look amazing once all grown in. Happy growing and please keep us updated.

All the grafts were taken from my donor area itself, without using the beard. Thank you very much

I do think you should take a DHT blocker like finasteride. You still have a ton of native hair which needs protecting, you dont want to run the risk of the native midcalp thinning out and having a very dense surrounding transplanted area, which would could give the appearance of a diffuse thinning pattern. I wouldn't take that kind of medication knowing about some risks it may pose, and I'm okay with the results I can achieve just with minoxidil.

Moderators Al - Moderator Posted May 21 Moderators Share Posted May 21 The growth is starting to come in. Now you get to spend the next 6 months looking in the mirror every day trying to see if you have any new hairs popping up and feeling both excited that your hair is growing 🙂 and depressed that it's taking too long and you don't see more than yesterday 😔 Al Forum Moderator (formerly BeHappy) I am a paid forum moderator for hairrestorationnetwork.com.
