Andre Conforti Pereira
Hello everyone! I'm André, and I'm here to share this amazing hair transplant surgery performed by Pittella. I hope you enjoy it. There were 9,789 grafts in total, with 3,894 taken from my beard. How I got to Dr. Pittella: I was looking for ways to do my hair transplant, and my degree of baldness during this search period was increasing, until it reached a high stage, approximately 5 or 6 on the Norwood scale. Until I found Pittella's work on social media and was surprised by the results he showed and how he showed them, in videos, combing, with wet hair, among others. However, I wasn't confident, thinking it would be expensive... But, after my research, I realized that only he could give me the satisfactory result I dreamed of. Consultation: I booked my appointment early last year and consulted on May 29th. In the video call consultation, he answered my questions and showed me cases similar to mine that he had restored. He really opened up all the possibilities for restoring my baldness, being very transparent about it. I left there decided and was referred to schedule my surgery. Treatment: After the consultation, he asked me to take oral minoxidil and also use the topical one, in addition to Biotin and some shampoos he recommended, such as Ketoconazole and Clobetasol. One day before the surgery: I went to Vitória, where his clinic is located, to perform the surgical markings and define the whole strategy. I had to take it from my beard because my donor area wasn't so good, despite seeming thin. He scanned me with the technology of the application he developed to map the entire bald area and find my PRECISE Baldness Grade, which is calculated according to the size of the bald area, thickness, and other factors. The app also calculated the number of follicles I would need to fill everything with high density. Two consecutive surgery days: I was a little scared, I had never had surgery before, but his team reassured me and gave me some medication to relax. I felt pain at the beginning, during anesthesia, and at other times, but it would pass. I also slept at times. It was two tiring days, but I feel it was worth it. So that's it, I'm happy to share my journey with you all and I hope it helps. I'll be posting my updates.
