Thales Martins Pereira
Hi everyone, I'm Thales, and today I'll talk about my hair transplant done by Dr. Pittella. As you can see, I have quite a widespread "diffuse" pattern of baldness, and I wanted to cover this entire bald area. I went to Dr. Pittella after hearing about his reputation in this type of restoration, and he surprised me even more during the consultation. He scanned me with software capable of creating a model of me in the application and also showing the exact number of follicles needed for good coverage of my entire area. Some details about my surgery: Although my surgery can be considered a small one, it lasted the whole day. I arrived at his Day Hospital early in the morning, around 6:30 a.m., and started to get ready for the surgery. Dr. Pittella was incredible during the procedure, and his team did their best to make me comfortable, which was difficult, by the way. I didn't sleep much. Most of the time, I was just feeling sleepy. In total, 6,761 grafts were implanted, which will result in 12,845 hairs. I thought it was great that it doubled like that! Everything went well, and I hope to post here soon to show my new hair.
Regular Member baddecisions Posted June 22 Regular Member Share Posted June 22 Considering Pitella's standards, 6k grafts is a small surgery 😄. Hope you have a nice recovery and waiting for new pictures!
Senior Member AB2000 Posted June 23 Senior Member Share Posted June 23 This should be an interesting outcome. A fair number of balding men have this hair loss pattern where it is very thin up front but the person still grows it out. It's a little past the tipping point where the hair loss can no longer be hidden with styling. My Hair Loss Website
