Eugenix Mumbai FUE 3067 Grafts - Dr Priyadarshini Das: July 26/27 2024

My experience with Dr. Priyadarshini at Eugenix:

• 34 years old, been progressively losing hair and first noticed clearly at 27. Strong family history of balding from my paternal side. Been on Minoxidil Topic 5% for 5 years and then moved to 10%. Oral Minoxidil daily and Dutasteride only 1 mg per week. 

• Have been consulting with Eugenix for over 5 years and was also booked with Dr. Das for my surgery in Jan 2022 which got cancelled as i got COVID 3 days before and did not get the oppurtunity to return until now. Condition did not deteriorate too much over the two years nor did it improve. 

• Reside in Dubai but travel to Mumbai often as I am originally from there and have the convenience of residing with parents during recovery. 

•  Dr. Das had been promoted to the premium package given 8 years of experience with Eugenix. I had selected her based on reviews I had seen.

• While I have my own home and transport, the care they take of you, everyone at the clinic is incredible. You feel at home. 

Day 1

• Got at clinic at 1.30pm and we did blood pressure test - I dropped in the evening before to do the allergy test and take pictures before the procedure.  

• Proceeded to draw the hairline with Dr. Das. It was as I had imagined, spoke to her about the density I was looking for and I wanted some more coverage on the crown which made them change our plan from 2800 to 3000 (while they only took the initial deposit for 2800, the balance was paid after the procedure).

• Proceeded to get the slits done by Dr. Das. This took maybe a couple hours and we finished with 2900 grafts. She was diligent in her slits and once done we applied the ink (another 167 slits were added the next day for increased density). Finished by 8pm on Day 1. 

• Also extracted and transplanted 1200 or so grafts the crown, the same evening. 

Day 2:

• Did not sleep very well overnight as I don't sleep on my back.

• Got there at 930 am and resumed started surgery right away. 

• As explained in other reviews the tech are pros at their jobs and are super efficient and clearly know what they are doing with each of them having at least 5-7 years of experience. They are also wonderful, co-operative and always smiling and taking care of you. 

• The lady giving the anastasia was caring , always asking if I felt pain and injecting as needed to numb the area being worked on. She also used a vibrator to distract your mind while injecting. 

• Dr. Das was there the whole time to supervise the surgery. 

• We finished at around 430pm and had maybe a 10 minutes break for lunch which was perfect with me.

• 3067 graft: Approximately 1200 approx crown, 1867 between hairline , temples and mid hair region 

• Took pictures post surgery and was given a package to take care of the hair and medication for 7 days. 

Opinion so far:

• I have been in touch with Eugenix for about 5 years and Rishabh Jain, my consultant throughout has been amazing and maintained a very friendly relationship and guided me very well, have had the opportunity to meet Dr. Pradeep Sethi himself a few times and the culture him, Dr. Bansal and entire team has set is beyond incredible.

• Dr. Das is very knowledgeable, humble and devotes more time than expected from a lead surgeon making the experience wonderful. The care team takes the meaning of care very seriously. 

• Today is the day after the surgery while I post and will devote time and effort to meticulously follow the after care which they have provided clearly, lets hope and pray for the best possible results ! Discomfort levels are far less than they prepared me for and it's not been too difficult so far.
