minoxidil Minoxidil 5% or 10%? Need advice! Thank you!

Hi everyone! I have a question about topical treatment for hair loss. In addition to oral medication, I'm planning to use a topical Minoxidil solution, but I'm not sure whether to use 5% or 10%. I'm a bit concerned because I've heard that the 10% solution has stronger side effects. Does anyone have any experience with it? ( attached are my before & 12mth post-op pic)

I used min 10%, 5% and oral. No side effects on any of them. For me the efficacy was oral>10%>5%.

Talk to your doctor and see what would work for you best. Remember that 10% minoxidil at 1ml is actually 100mg of minoxidil. Ofcourse, not a lot of it goes systemic.
