Syed Murtaza
Hi all, Only those who are HT professionals or have gone through the process kindly share your advise as I am already tense with my result. I had my transplant last year in 26 October 2023 like almost 8 months back. I got 1500 grafts from FUT for hair line. My age is 26, the issue is I think that my surgeon has kept the new hair line way above, at the time of surgery when I asked him that it’s very high so he said that we have done this to make it look natural, where as even after 8 months the only difference between my pre and post transplant is that the huge gap of my frontal temples have been reduced but not completely fixed. Although I can still feel small razor like hair on my head. I have attached all my photos please those who are professionals help me as I am very tense since last 8 months. Will the hair grow more or is my hair line really very high ? I am taking finasteride 1 mg Priorin Fish oil Boitin 5000mcg And minoxidil 5% topical Edited Wednesday at 01:00 PM by Syed Murtaza
Valued Contributor Berba11 Posted Wednesday at 11:08 PM Valued Contributor Share Posted Wednesday at 11:08 PM Do you have any better pictures of the work immediately post op? Did the clinic take any high resolution images? It’s hard to get a good understanding of the surgery itself in order to make a proper judgement. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted Thursday at 02:00 PM Valued Contributor Share Posted Thursday at 02:00 PM As @Berba11 has stated going by these pics it’s very difficult to understand what is going on. Immediate post op pics will give a much more detailed story. Having said that, we’re hair will always make your hair appear thinner than when it is dry. It appears that the surgeon has left the native hair in the midpoint so that it will blend with the transplanted new hair to give a natural appearance. If I was to look at the chronological order of pics based on the ones you have supplied I can only see an improvement of your hair. Also bear in mind it takes up to 12 months before you can really call the final result. Also the fact that you are taking Finasteride and topical minoxidil means that you are stabilizing your hair loss. I wish you all the best. Going ‘solely’ by these posted pics I don’t see anything to worry about. All the best!
