Regular Member Arcticblonde Posted July 5 Regular Member Share Posted July 5 i have had this effect on transplanted hairs, but it subsided after about 2 years, my hair became soft again. is this typical/ is it possible to happen to hair that transplant was near? is there a chance of damaging exising hair if you transplant into existing hair? Senior Member BaldReaper Posted July 6 Senior Member Share Posted July 6 Yes I have straight hair and it happened to me, after a year or so it became much better, apparently the donor hair, if allowed to grow long , will also have some curl. LaNada
My hair has naturally always laid forward, but post-transplant is sticks straight up. I don't mind it though. It's just different.
