If DHT is the cause of hairloss and finasteride lowers it, but someone doesn’t take finasteride, is there any point in using minoxidil? Ideally I would prefer to take or add finasteride to block DHT however finasteride kills my libido. However at 57, and originally a Norwood 7, I’m hoping my hair loss has been mostly established already.
