Has anyone tried cutting a 5mg fin pill into 8ths?

Yes, yes, I know I am being frugal. I am finally trying oral fin for the first time. I have a prescription for a 5mg pill meant to be quartered (essential clinic in Canada) that comes with a pill cutter. Each quarter to be taken daily. I would imagine the pills are scored, but not certain yet. I am nervous about starting off at 1.25mg per day... Has any tried cutting the quarters into 8ths to do 0.625mg per day? Is it possible, or is it too difficult ? TIA!

Well I cut a 1mg in to quarters so I’d guess it’s possible seen as tho the tablet will be 5 times the size, you can only try but it’s a good idea to start on a low dose.

Cut it into quarters and take it every other day.

1.25mg every other day.
