How many grafts will I need?

Need to see more photos, particularly from above to see how far back your hairline has recessed to.

But you would probably be looking at, at least, 4000 grafts I would say based on the angle/photo you provided. The wise thing would be to split this over 2 surgeries. 

Having said that Afro hair has great characteristics and majority of hairs are typically multi-hairs (4,5,6 hairs per follicle is not unheard of in Afro hair) which means you can obtain good coverage and illusion of density with less grafts. The downside is you need to go to a surgeon who specialises in Afro hair.

I would challenge the hairline design though, you may also need some temple point work. Perhaps a more mature and less straight hairline would work better and require less grafts.
