Regular Member saulgoodbruv Posted August 5 Regular Member Share Posted August 5 (edited) I watched a couple of doctors on YouTube saying that they recommend that their patients take periodic breaks from finasteride: TL;DW: Taking periodic breaks from finasteride (like 30 days every 6 months) can help maintain its effects in the long run. What are your thoughts on this? What have your own doctors said? Hopefully, doctors in this forum could chime in as well. Personally, I've been taking dutasteride 3x a week for over a year. While I thankfullybhaven't experienced adverse side effects thus far, anything that could mitigate potential sides is something that is preferable.
